Vaccines that prevent individuals from contracting deathly illnesses are one of the greatest achievements in the history of epidemiology. A vast majority of individuals choose to get their children as well as themselves vaccinated. However, there are some people who choose not to get vaccinated because they believe that vaccines are dangerous and unnecessary. This dilemma emphasises the vastness of the controversy between choosing to get vaccinated or not. The subject of this dispute is difficult to resolve since each individual has their own opinion on the topic and is in control of whether or not they want to get vaccinated.

Some of these advantages include the fact that vaccines can help eradicate diseases completely over time if everyone is given the vaccine, vaccines are only given to children after being reviewed carefully by doctors and other professionals which makes vaccines safe and effective, and immunization can lead to the extinction of certain diseases in later generations. Vaccinating can also help to ensure that individuals who are can not receive vaccines such as children who are too young to be vaccinated, people who can’t be vaccinated for certain diseases for medical conditions, or individuals who don’t respond to a certain vaccine are safe. In conclusion, some of the many benefits to getting vaccinated include helping future generations eradicate diseases completely, protecting yourself and others around you from getting serious diseases, and making sure that individuals who can not get vaccinated are safe around you and other vaccinated
