The experimentation of animals is very disagreeable in our society. It is cruel to animals and people with the work that goes into it. Testing on animals should be stopped because it is an unhelpful, unnecessary, and an expensive, time wasting, way of testing products.

In discussion of animal rights, one controversial issue has been whether or not animals should be use for medical testing. On the one hand, some scientists argue that animal testing has contributed for many cures and treatments. On the other hand, animal rights activist contends that alternative methods now exist that can replace the need for animals. Others even maintain that animal testing is an essential part in medical research. My own view is that animals should not be used in medical testing because is no longer necessary now there are methods that are safer and have better results than animals do.

Animal testing - this issue is one of the most controversial issues discussed around the world today. Many argue that animal testing is inhumane, and that animals should no longer be used for testing. However, I strongly agree with the point that animal testing is, in fact, the best way to prove a product to be safe. In a survey done in the US, 99% of the active physicians thought that animal testing should be continued - for the present, no alternative for animal testing is accurate enough to replace it. Without animal testing, human beings themselves will become the subject of experiment. People should be aware that without any alternative in place, it would be the same as saying that human rights are less important than animal rights. Human beings desperately need animal testing for the development of cures as well as for the sake of civilisation.

Specific evidence points that animal testing should not be allowed; however the debate is also on moral grounds. Several people, about 60% of the population, agree that animal testing should be banned because it is just wrong. To be born into the world on a concrete floor and be made to lead a life with no freedom is worse than having no life.
