According to Cathy Archer, The Parking Enhancement Reserve is place holder. For Downtown CRA, we can’t have any fund balance at the end of the year. So we created couple of place holder like Parking Enhancement and Downtown Development reserves to transfer the any excess revenues. For these reserves, we can spend whatever projects we would like to do. For $350,000 for Georgia Streetscape, I am not sure what to explain. Please explain to me what information you would like to

On May 10, 2016, at approximately 0951 hours, police dispatch aired over the police channel that a female was being assaulted in the basement level of the Henderson Parking Garage (H-Lot), and the victim/caller was calling from a Blue Phone, later identified to be located at the northeast section of the H-Lot.
This is what tax dollars should be used for, improvements for the city and all the people of the city, not just
building codes representative agreed were a possibility where as follows: an expansion of the parking lot in order to account for more parking spaces.
According to recent surveys conducted they depict that “70% of college age students own or have access to cars” (CollegeParents, 2015). This being said, parking on college campuses should be taken as a highly important matter. The parking policy at New Mexico State University has both its advantages and disadvantages. Being a student that attends NMSU I have experienced both. There are some things that I appreciate about the policy but there are also many concerns and factors that should be revaluated. The NMSU parking policy has many implications to the students, faculty, visitors, etc.
When conducting the in-person surveys, we handed out printed surveys to students in the 11 A.M. Physics I Tuesday and Thursday class. This survey consisted of nine questions, one of the questions was thrown out because it was found to be irrelevant to the main problem stated. The other eight were used to find out what the major issues with this parking lot are, from the student’s and faculty’s perspective. After attaining the results of the in-person survey, we elected to revise some of the survey’s questions and make the survey available to the student body and faculty members online. Our director posted the link in a mass email to the UK Paducah student body and related faculty. All surveys are anonymous and the results are compiled into a data file that we created. In addition to the surveys, we conducted Interviews to get people thoughts on the six most import survey questions. The interviews
The range of housing choice was discussed, which Dr. Laura Johnson talked about the re-planning of Regent Park and Dr. Markus Moos talked about the housing for young adults.
On Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 0139 hours, I, Deputy Waldschmidt was driving through the Kansas Star Casino parking lot when I observed a unoccupied 2004 Gold Chevy Impala’s (KS 400JZT/VIN # 2G1WF52E649197193) front bumper up against an unoccupied 2012 white Jeep Liberty (KS 3159/VIN # 1C4PJMAK7CW155651) driver’s side doors. It appeared the Impala rolled into the Jeep. I contacted Officer Boone with the Mulvane Police Department who later arrived on scene. She worked the private property accident while I stood-by to assist. The owners of both vehicles were located and Boone collected their personal information.
Imagine waking up thirty minutes late the morning of your final exam, the sense of panic you feel as you are rushing to get dressed and then begin speeding through traffic to make it to the campus on time. Upon finally arriving, with less than fifteen minutes left to spare, there is absolutely nowhere for you to park your car in the parking garage. Stressful situations such as these happen on a daily basis for college students attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), the issue of parking deficiencies at UNLV is becoming a more well-known and very prevalent among the college’s community. The absence of parking spots at UNLV is detrimental to students’ education because it causes problems such as tardiness, frustration added stress, and financial issues; all things that will eventually handicap the educational enrichment of the students that are enrolled.
As of 2013 there are about 2,500 parking spots currently available at the UCMerced parking lot; with the continued growth of students in the school, we need to be able to make sure supply meets demand with the parking spaces. UCMerced's student population is rapidly growing from 13.5 % from Fall of 2015 to 2016 (UCMerced). Due to the high demand the school needs to be able meet the necessary requirements for all these students; one of the biggest problems the school faces is that they aren’t able to meet the student’s transportation needs (The Merced Sun-Star). The lack of spaces causes students and staff to waste time looking for parking causing them to waste time. I plan on making a design on a mobile app to be able to solve this problem.
Although there may be some people who do not agree, it is not part of the law to make someone buy a parking pass. It is not a necessity to most people and some may think fifteen dollars is nothing, but their are others who need the money for food. Cars being towed is not an appropriate way to handle something like this and leaving them without a thought of it happening is even worse. Santa Rosa Academy is already a school that requires people to spend a good amount of money on, adding more to parents and even students is a very stressful thing. There are other ways to handle something as so little as a parking pass
Daily, thousands of students and faculty commute to this prestigious university. Unfortunately, insufficient parking at Texas A&M inconveniences many of us.
As students we pay for many fees and parking should not be one of them. Here at Oregon State University many students and professors ride their bikes around campus, but there are also many students who drive their cars around campus. Some students have the privilege to have their car here, but for some students it is a necessity because they may live far from campus or because it is their ride back home. For parking passes we have to pay a fee that varies from $95 to $495 for an annual permit. This is the fee we have to pay just to park on campus and not have to park of campus. With how high our tuition is you would expect something like parking would be included. It should not even be included in our tuition, I believe
Becuause the expansion project for carpark is a multilevel construction, according to the code of practice it can be consider as high risk construction work. According to research the injury rate for construciton project remains very high, thus in this expansion project If the site safety is not managed adequately, it will potentially cause large number of injury and involve into legal issue.
There are currently only a handful of reserved spaces on campus, and the ground has yet to be broken for the construction of the parking deck. In fact, Winthrop University does not even have all the funds needed to build this parking deck. When I approached Jack Allen, of Campus Police, with my idea of reserved parking spaces, he told me that he thought it was a good idea. Walter Hardin, when given the same idea, seemed to think that the reserved parking system would not realistically work out but was open to the proposal.
