Thank you for your service to our country and keeping us safe. When I was growing up, I recall my father chatting about his stories when he served in the Navy. He would seriously crack me up because he could recite a lot of the information like no problem. On top of that, I work for USAA, and I can wholeheartedly say I love serving our military community. Some of my closest friends have also fulfilled their twenty years, and they are doing exceptionally well with their retirement. Furthermore, you did an excellent job with the refresher problems from last week of Mat221. The bullet points are also a smart way of pointing out the work. How funny, I just realized we had the same problems and of course they are accurate. Thank you
with great pride and dignity. The unit and I are more than grateful to have served
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for your many years of service. I truly appreciate the stands you have taken to uphold the values that have made this country and state such a wonderful place to raise a family.
I would like to thank you for the time that you have sacrificed. I am so very grateful for the hours and hours of dedication you have put forth. Your constant bravery and courage shows the type of person that you chose to be. I couldn't be more appreciative that you are willing to risk your life for others. Not many people are willing to stand up and fight for our freedom but you did and I am very thankful for that. You served for my freedom to live a free and enjoyable life. I hope that you have had one of the best days today, at the Washington D.C. memorial. Thank you for stepping forward when no one else would.
In May of 2005 I finally accomplished something that really meant a lot not only to me and my family, but to the people of the United States of America. Even while being in Iraq from April 2007 to November 2007 and losing a brother in arms while I was there I still felt honor. After finding out I will be a dad in June 2008 I became a Non Commissioned officer July 1st and a married man by July 2nd. Once August 2008 came I found myself saying yes to four more years. Once August 2012 came I was a well-established family man who became a marine vet who is instilled with nothing but honor, courage, and
Thank you for your service! I admire your commitment to work full time and take college classes. I am a military brat and spent many years living on post. I have experienced not having a vehicle and walking to the exchange for both lunch and dinner. I also ate at the DFAC for many Thanksgiving Day dinners. Good luck this semester!
In other words, were supposed to thank them because other people will not serve for our country. They protected us in many different ways and we United States don’t see it yet. To emphasize why I appreciate them is because most of my family went to the military and I respect them for that. Therefor, I would go the military because half of my went to the military and I want to follow my family footsteps because I want to say that I served for my country. In the other hand, the
Everything our country has to be thankful for is because of you. You fight for our rights, for our freedom. You are the foundation of our country. People may forget how privileged they are. They forget you risk your life. There is not many places in the world where men and women who they have never met will fight, with their lives, to grant the rights for the people. They forget what America stands for. They forget why American is so great. They forget that not many other people in the world have that privilege to birth given rights . You protect and defend Americans' freedom and way of life. You have fought for our country, veterans and flag. You risk your time. The time you get to spend with your family, so we are able to spend it with
The American veterans did a lot for us. If it wasn’t for them we wouldn't be able to do the things we want to do. So appreciate those who serve for us. Think of this as a gift. If you open a gift you are happy. Just like when the Veterans serve for us we are happy. Also when you open the gift you are thankful. Just like when you found out the Veterans served for us you were thankful.
America’s gift to my generation is amazing because veterans have used all their potential for us. They fought for us to be alive right now. Their gift to us is much more than I expected. I am so thankful and I appreciate all they have done for us.
I think that as a whole our country has pride. People want to join the army, navy or military. Troops don’t just walk toward the danger but attack it with pride. They are willing to die for what they believe is right. They will defend this nation with everything they got. And if they had the chance many of them would do it all over again. Because they believe in our country and we would not be here if it weren't for them. We fight with honor and dignity and that should not be overlooked. For as long as we have Hope, I believe America with thrive.
I am proud to say that both my grandma and grandpa served in the military. The experiences that they have had are invaluable to learn about. Their stories keep the service they have done alive and helps to enrich others about what serving the country is like. They do not glout about their service, but are humbled to have been able to make a contribution to the nation’s security. If not for my grandpa’s service, I would not be here today as he met my grandma through it. I respect his service and sacrifice for the country of today.
In the wake of the wars, our military’s men and women have experienced things that most people cannot dare to dream of. Although some of them are able to transition into the civilian life, many are left with scars that are mentally and physically traumatic. Rick Yount established Warrior Canine Connection in order to help veterans and their families find a service dog to successfully guide and aid veterans to become stronger and to function better. Service dogs have been around for many years helping veterans get back on their feet and helping them with their disabilities. Post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury affect hundreds of veterans each day. Those who suffer from amputated limbs must rely on others and mechanical devices to function.
I would consider it an honor to continue my service with the Department of Defense as a valuable part of the Nations’ team; accountable for the health of the Navy. My passion to contribute to our country, in any way possible, will aid in my determination to make a difference. My confidence, enthusiasm and discipline would be a great asset to the team. I look forward to working with people around the globe, serving my Nation, and supporting the
The men and women who helped shape the face of this country through their honor, legacy, and patriotism are those we call veterans. They are our dads, moms, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters; they are our family. Yet, we constantly overlook their desire and passion for this country. The gratitude that they deserve is not shown towards them, as it should be. I thank all veterans for their
Someone in your family has probably served our country in some capacity. Whether it was a grandfather, father, mother, sister brother, someone you know has or did there service for our country. For their sacrifice and for those that gave of themselves for our great country I thank you for their lives and their ultimate gift it was unselfish and I am greatful. I personally am speaking about my grandfather on my mothers side who fought in World War II and Koreaa, and for my grandfather on my fathers side who was a pilot who flew in World War II, Korea and Vietnam, and I am also speaking for my grandfather on my step fathers side who served on a sub that got sunk, who escaped narrowly only to become a P.O.W. for two years.. It was a miracle that they all returned home, and when they did, they probably celebrated with rejoicing with their families, a picnic, and a cold beer. On their behalf have a cold beer for those who have fallen in memory and honor of them, just make sure that its a true American beer, and not America beer.
