The Importance Of Putting In A Dog Park

I think dog parks are a good idea. Dogs need alot of exercise and play time. Many cites and urban areas just dont have the room for that to happen. But there are optoins there many open unused lots, and empty building that could be torn down to create these places. I am a dog owner myself i live in the country were open space is abundant. My dog Neno can run a play all he wants it's good for his health and mental state. When he doesn't get out he gets cranky and chews thing around the house. I grew up in a city of five millon, so i know how hepful a dog park can be to dog owners. You should always have your dog around other people, and animals,

The assertion that “our city is in desperate need of a dog park” strikes me as overly dramatic. I would go so far as to say no city “needs” a dog park, but many owners certainly “want” a dog park. The alarming canine conditions cited in “A Dog Park Benefits All” can be addressed without an unnecessary tax burden assumed by pet and non-pet owners for the construction of a dog park in Muscatine.

Dogs should have their own parks,because when dogs aren't getting the physical and mental excercise that they need, their behavior tend to get worse. ASPCA has a study that shows the rate of dogs biting humans went down drastically in places where they're dog parks. ASPCA also believes that if dogs had a park then their would be less incidents of dogs attacking humans,barking, and destroying things. Many dog owners have given their dogs up , because they started to act like''bad dogs'', this is because they don't have a dog park to excercise all their energy everyday. Dogs need a park just like humans.

In the first passage " A Dog Park Benefits All", they are stating their opinion for a need for a dog park. Stating that rental units make up at least 68 percent of the cities residents. Leaving them with little to no private yard space to accomodate pet owners needs. Also they state that lack of exercise and socialization negatively effects dogs.

According to one article '' That 37% of americans who own dogs often look for a dog park when choosing for a place to live''. With dog parks everyone would benefit. Without a place to take dogs they may never socialize much and can become aggresive.Though a good point can be made that dog parks can be loud at times. I still believe that dog parks are needed.

I believe that we as a state should we deside if that's a good idea or not. I think this way becuase there are many perspectives that you have to take in. You have to know how many people are in you town. You also have to know if you have enough space for a dog park.

I do believe it would be best for everyones sake if the dog park was built. Clearly, the passage stated in benefit to the dog park being built, "Bad behaior caused by dogs being lonely or poorly exercised is partly responsible for the 2 million pet dogs that end up at U.S. animal shelters every year." The prevention of putting an animal in a shelter could possibly avoid lawsuits from the animal attacking a person.

In these passages they explain the reasons of why there should be a dog park nearby and why there shouldn't be a dog park nearby. Personally I think that dog parks are a brilliant idea because it creates a more social environment for both the dogs and the owners. It is also beneficial to getting more people to move into the community which could possibly lower taxes.

Dog parks have been a beneficial asset to a lot of communities while at the same time, a nuisance. Tons of dog owners believe building dog parks have more positives than negatives. They believe exercise is important to a dogs' mental and physical health. Dog owners often release their dogs in emtpy lots and city parks which can be potentially dangerous for other dogs and other people. Building a park would allow dogs to have better social skills, and wreck havoc outside instead of in homes. Less dogs would be in shelters and dog bite reports would go down.

If I was dog owner then I would not move into a neighborhood that my dog couldn't exercise or go to the bathroom. Having a dog park is a great thing because

Public dog parks should be put in cities because all dogs need excersise. A dog park benefits all says dogs who dont get excersise can act out by barking and destroying things. And when one lives in a city chances are they are in an apartment were no dog has the available space for excersise.

A dog park would be very benificial to the city because it will give dog owners access to a dog friendly area where the dog and people are safe. Most dog owners do not have access to such a place. In public parks dogs are not alowwed to roam freely without a leash due the amount of small children in the area that may feel unsafe near a dog.

Building a public dog park in a residential area of the city may generate big discussion about the benefits and problems that can come with it. I believe that the creation of a dog park would be a great way to improve resident's lives for several reasons. Firt of all, The amount of people who own a dog have increased in the last decade. This means that the percentage of people that will beneficiate by a dog park could increase over the years. Second thing, green areas in cities have shown to improve life quality of its residents. Finally, the creating of a park would raise the property values around the park.

I believe that public dog parks should be built in cities, only because there would be less dog attacks on people and other dogs in the neighborhood.
