Things have changed over the years with our growing country, but none of it would be possible without civic and political participation from all the people in America by following the rules, participating in voting and many more civil responsibilities and duties. Out of all the citizens of America, you are one that understands this thoroughly because you are doing it every day in office.

Due to a democratic government being established in the United States, it’s important to have its residents participate in activities. Having an interactive community helps the government develop an efficient society. Americans need to be politically engaged, if not their voice will not be heard during elections thus the government will not know what they want, interfering with the way of life the citizens live on a day to day basis.

What most kids don’t know about failure, is that it can be their number one key to success. Making a mistake is like a new and fresh start on how to improve the next time around. When handed a participation award it blocks the sense of accomplishment that is worth much more than any trophy.

America is a democracy which encourages its citizens to participate in government. When I researched what participation was defined as a series of definitions were found ranging from basic to complex. At its most basic form, participation means to take part in something. I completely agree with you Erica, the government is adequately involved in the public’s health. As we have read this week the laws the government places are for the protection of the citizen’s. I also think it’s a great idea that the citizens get involved in the decision making of the board of health this can help ease the tensions between the government and the public. Engagement/participation. The housing community has students/residents from various walks of life. These students tend to have a wide range of interests that differ vastly. Consequently, when certain events or activities are proposed throughout the course of an academic year, there is a likelihood that several residents may be uninterested. One of the implication is that we had to manage time for the people around us and connect with them. This clarified that if we connect with people who are around us, they may feel important and could reduce stress in them.
