Mount Vesuvius one day erupted in the city of Pompeii and destroyed it. Mount Vesuvius left behind ash and stone that covered Pompeii. The daily life of Pompeii is similar to our daily life today. Their similarities are their jobs, gadgets, and interests.

Mt. Vesuvius caused destruction to the people that lived in Pompeii, on the island of Campania Vesuvius was a volcano that covered the town in ash, and there are still remains left.

Pompeii was once a large and promising city that one day became uninhabitable by the eruption of mount Vesuvius.

Mount Vesuvius is one of the most well know volcanoes in the world. This massive volcano is located over looking the Bay of Naples, in the region of Campania, in Italy. Vesuvius is 4190-feet high and is made up of layers of lava flows, volcanic ash and cinders. It is considered one of the most deadly volcanoes in the world and is the most densely populated volcanic region in with millions of people living close to the crater. Vesuvius is a stratovolcano and is the only active volcano in mainland Europe. Mount Vesuvius has produced some of the continent’s largest eruptions.

A loud noise like a gun went off from the volcano exploding as people ran for their lives. This is probably what one destructive morning in Pompeii looked like in 79 AD. Pompeii is important because of its destruction, rediscovery, and because it provided information about the ancient world.

Located in southern Italy, the city of Pompeii suffered from one of the most devastating disasters of all time. On August 24, 79 AD, a volcano, known as Mt. Vesuvius, erupted and struck the entire city of Pompeii. As a result, many citizens of Pompeii suffocated to death from the ash and the entire city was left dry and still. The volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius and the aftermath it left on the city of Pompeii left a positive influence on my academic upbringing.

They were both the same kind of volcano, stratovolcano. The Volcano’s both spewed ash, and pumice. The cities could feel the tremors the “Mountains” were causing. The Volcano’ s caused huge eruptions, that buried homes, and the whole city.

The big eruption occurred on April 10, 1815 and it happens to be the largest explosive volcano on record to date. The explosion blasted volcanic ash and plumes 45 kilometers into the atmosphere. Mount Tambora erupted on the island of Sumbawa in the East Indies, in what is now known as Indonesia. This catastrophic geological event occurred on a different continent, yet it affected the continents of North America and Europe. The explosion released large amounts of sulfate gases and also created a large dust cloud 300 miles in length. Transportation is one of the most important things in this planet. No one can do anything with their money if they can’t either get to the place where they spend it or get what they are buying to them. Transportation played a huge role in the later part of the 19th century in increasing the amount of movement of people and objects which helped with economic growth in America.

These are all happen B.C. and these are where God makes his law, which is that we as catholic, who believe in Him shall respect the earth, as well as every living thing on it. This is said in Exodus 19:5 “obey my voice to keep this covenant.” The new covenant is the best covenant in the bible because it is about Jesus, as well it is about how God sacrificed Jesus for our freedom, which then made our death the way that will completely free us of sin.
