The Diary of Anne Frank is one of the few books that really showed people the daily life of a person who was Jewish during World War II. The Diary of Anne Frank is about her and seven other people going into hiding once they hear the news about the Nazi’s. The people that were in the annex were Anne Frank her family, The Van Daans and Dussel. Anne Frank becomes more mature during the time she was in the annex. You can really tell this when she turns fifteen years old. During that time she talks about how she feels and she now understands how people feel and think. She also wasn’t getting in trouble as much. At the beginning of the story she was the “most badly behaved of the three young people,” (Frank 56). For her birthday she “got a doll,”
