In the ending of the book it talks more about what John does in the future, not only with his life but for the movement as well. For example he discovers that there is a school in Nashville that specialized in helping black men and woman become missionaries and ministers though he didn't feel he was doing enough. Franklin McCain was known for the First Lunch Counter Sit-In. In 1960, four African American college students made history by sitting at a white only lunch counter at the Woolworth’s Dinner located in Greensboro, North Carolina.
