The character that I like the best was Lina. First of all, she was very vitality. She loves running across the city, she felt happy when she was running. She was very responsible, she ran as soon as she can to transmit the message which was her job. She never became tired about it. Secondly, she notices every little detail. That was really help when they were figuring out the exit. Also, she really loved and took care of her little sister which is Poppy. Lina was still young at that time, she was only twelve, but she took good care of Poppy which was amazing. However, I don't have any sibling, but I wanted to have a sister for a long time. That’s one of the reason why I like her. She was optimist, she enjoyed her life. She likes to smell and touch
Turtle/Alice - She is unbeautiful in my opinion. She dresses like a snob and she acts like a boy. No I wish she was like my sweet Angela, a lady that acts like a young lady. I wish she wouldn’t go around kicking people in the leg ouch!! Jake - My husband Jake Wexler is a doctor but i wish he didn’t work so much and would spend time with his family for once in his life. I also wish he wasn’t the bookie!! That’s right I know my husband is the bookie and I hate it I hate it. I
Thank you for sharing your on-site issue. I am expressive with my facial expressions quite often and until your post, I am not sure if I viewed this as a major problem. You are spot on with being concerned with. Anyone that has been on the received end of a disapproving facial expression understands how it can sting. I was thinking about how Thelma from Love’s Executioner and she would have reacted to Dr. Yalom (1989) if he lost that poker face. There were times we can infer that he might have let his face communicate a judgement and it impacted the session. Navarro (2011) states, “...there are over 215 behaviors associated with psychological discomfort and most of those are not in the face (para.14).” Yikes!!! I would
Ava Buras played the role of Annie Cannon. She was my favorite actress because she had the best emotion and was absolutely perfect for that role. Sarah Dean played the role Henrietta Leavitt and she portrayed it amazingly. She used her emotions to sell the character and she accomplished that. Jessie Duplantis played the role of Williamina Fleming and she also did amazing. She used hand gestures and face to portray this character perfectly. Katie Kitchen played the role of Margaret Leavitt and she had the best facial expressions. In my opinion she had the very best emotions and I think this because I really felt like I was actually watching real life. As a whole, all the characters did an amazing job and they all had very good emotions.
My favorite character is definitely Eli.I love that in the beginning years of the compound he shuts everyone out and blocks himself from the world or at least the new one. Then the sixth year when he finally starts to put the pieces together. While all this is going on he starts to soften up and enters the yellow door known as the supplements room.He ends up loving his little brothers and sister.
Minny Jackson, because she empowers those she cares for and protects them. Minny is a strong woman she doesn't like to be viewed as an object she says it like it is. She does what she believes is right in the moment. “Minny made us put that pie story in to protect us. Not to protect herself but to protect me and the other maids. She knew it would only make it worse for herself with Hilly. But she did it anyway for everybody else. She didn't want us to see how scared she is.” (33.41)
Secondly, there is Isabelle. This character is a combination of the archetypical beauty – which gives the viewer a sense of familiarity, and a nerd- her point of difference to challenge the perspective of the audience. She is consistently fighting an internal battle between these contrasting dimension, which adds interest and creates an even more relatable aspect of the show. Like the other characters, she is a 22-year-old university student, however; she is studying a double degree of bachelor of fashion and design and a bachelor of neuroscience. Like her personality, these degrees contrast each other. Throughout the series, the audience will find out the reason why, she hides her intelligent but dorky side, and covers it up with a charade
but she finds comfort in the little things. Lise is not really a character but provides a disguise for Ellen to use while traveling with the Johansens. Ms. Johansen is not described much but from the information I got she is a caring mother and loves her kid very much but understands that sometimes you have to fight for people even if it means risking your life. Uncle Henrik is a strong and brave man who has a lot of wisdom and courage, he believes in Annemarie and that she will be able to help save her friend. Henrik risked his life the most by transporting the Rosens and a few other jews to Sweden in his boat.
The character I chose was Amber Sand, the main character in the book. In her family, the magic must have leapfrogged over her because she isn’t a witch like the rest of her family. She is a matchmaker which means that after looking into someone’s eyes then she can see their true love. Her best friend is a precog which means that she can see the future and her partner is the mayor’s son but has no magical powers. She is usually not very nice and likes to stay away from people but when she meets Charlie Blitzman, the mayor’s son, her eyes are opened and she becomes a different person. This all helps for the main reason he came to her, to find his father’s missing girlfriend.
In The Help there are so many amazing characters, and unfortunately the movie did not allow some of them to reach their full potential. This is most evident in Miss Celia Rae Foote. Miss Celia is sweetheart but she is an airhead, who is considered white trash, tramp for marrying the evil Miss Hilly’s ex boyfriend and for dressing provocatively. In the movie, that is as deep as her character develops. In the novel, there is more depth to Miss Celia and her relationship with her maid Minny Jackson. Miss Celia shows us in the novel that even though she lives in such an ugly world it’s okay to be happy and to love people. While in the movie it just seems that she lets Minny disrespect her because she’s not smart enough to catch it. In the novel,
I liked Aunt Silda and Tripp’s characters the most. I liked how Aunt Silda was serious but at the same time funny. She would go off topic when she would smell alcohol or smell a cigarette burning, I found that funny. I also liked how she was pushing Brooke to publish her book because it’s what Brooke wants. I really liked her aloof comical trait.
It is hard to hear the words “let it go” without bursting into song, thanks to Disney’s 2013 animated feature film Frozen. Derived from the Disney princess franchise, Frozen follows two sisters, Elsa and Anna, as they inherit their family’s kingdom after the sudden and unexpected death of their parents. Elsa being the oldest of the two, is the newly crowned queen of Arendelle, but what no one knows is that she is hiding a secret. According to Linda Seger’s article “Creating the Myth” in Signs of Life in the USA “other myths revolve around make-believe characters who might capsulize for us the sum total of many of our journeys.” Meaning, that Elsa’s story
In the story, each characters have their own personality and most of the character ’s external just match with their personality. Also, character’s move and expression both are make me feel like they are vivid. Let me introduce some characters who i love. Lloyd Irving is a strong-hearted young man who wishes for peace in the world without the sacrifice of others; Kratos Aurion is Lloyd’s real father who teach Lloyed how to use sword and protect him in secret, but he does not know Kratos is his real father; Sheena Fujibayashi is a strong-willed and kind-hearted ninja from Mizuho. At first time, she wants to kill Colette. However, at the invitation of Llyoed, she joins them and helps them fight to the enemies. Oh by the way, Sheena has a little pet called Corrine, who always help Sheena while she was in trouble. He is a really cute little fox. These character not only kind but also have a passive mind. So, it is why I love
Who is Leila from Her First Ball? Leila is a dynamic, well-thought out character. She is new to town, so she is trying to fit in and feel comfortable. With Laura, Laurie, and Meg, her cousins, as mentors Leila begins to understand the social aspect of her new home. However, at times, she doesn’t seem to be enjoying herself. Her First Ball is the story of a nervous, shy, and excited young girl learning how to fit in in her new home. While, the girls are getting ready for the ball Leila seems to be a bit confused, at one point she asks, “Am I meant to have one too?” (2), but standing there answerless she takes one anyway. However, she remains optimistic, and notices how “they were all so lovely” (2). Directly after they had left the “little room
“Thanks to the captivating storyline, twisting plot, and intriguing characters, Philip Pullman always had my and many other readers attention!”(Interview with Naina Prakash, Pine Point student). I absolutely loved Elle! To me, she's successful, really amazing and strong. I really looked up to her and loved her from page one. I could relate to her ‘I am trying to impress my boss’ moments and to think. Elle’s such a perfect heroine with fabulous personality. She’s so great that not only left a mark but I actually want to be her. She was genuine and she’s really lovely to people she likes. She’s not as much of a drama queen compared to Laurie, she’s calm and cool.
