There are many important parts in the human brain such as the cerebellum and the hind brain, but the specific part that this essay will be focused on is the brain's cortex. The brain is made up of layers and the cortex is the outer layer of the brain. If one were to look at a human brain the layer of wrinkles covering the brain would be the cortex. The cortex is not just wrinkles on the brain, it is also responsible for controlling our senses and several movements of our body.
