With spring registration at Texarkana College in full swing, TC is also providing students with the chance to take a few classes before the spring semester begins.
A ten-day period known as the January Mini-mester, or winter-mester will take place January 2nd, 2016 through January 13th.
All classes will be Monday through Friday, from 8am until 12:50 pm. Even though these classes are only 15 days long, students will be able to earn the full three credits, as if they took the classes during a regular semester. Prices for these classes will be the same as any three credit class taken during a regular semester; TC has a price chart available on the college website for students who want to check prices. Students will be informed by their instructor
Besides, I have class on Thursday next semester from 10-12 am, so I suppose that the TUT hours from 12-1 pm doesn’t work so well for me. I would appreciate it if I may be considered for either of the other two TUT hours, if it also works for others.
High School is an incredibly important period of life. It influences your social, academic, and personal life for four years, and prepares you for college and a career. This is the reason County Prep High School is my school of choice. County Prep's thriving social environment, challenging academic curriculum, and wide variety of electives will help me successfully carry out my plans for the future.

During the Olympic Torch passing on January 24, 2002 students of Juneau- Douglas High School in Alaska were allow to go across the street to watch the event. Joseph Frederick and some of his peers held up a banner stating “BONG HiTS 4 JESUS” as the television cameras passed them. The principal of the highschool, Deborah Morse, seized the sign and suspended Frederick for five days for violating the anti-drug policy of the school district. This suspension was later extended to 10 days. The first thing Fredrick did was appeal the suspension to the superintendent. His appeal was denied. Later, in March he appeal to the Juneau School Board who also supported the principal's decision.
Through the years, education has been an immense portion of the expenses and importance in Texas. Education comes from school; therefore, the public should have access to a substantial quality of education. The schools are also substantial businesses in Texas, which is what the state represents. Texas’ school districts receive mixed funds for the students’ education. It consists of state, local, and federal funds. However, the majority of the funds for schools come from local property tax. This is taken from the Texas education code, which state how the schools will be funded, curriculum requirements, and etc. It may seem like schools allocate a fair sum of money for its students; however, there are many conflicts related to the inflation of requirements needed for education. The major issues consist of expenditure per student, intradistrict funding policies, high percentage of
Amidst high tensions and watery eyes, the Texarkana College Trustees passed a motion by a unanimous vote to cancel the athletic department during a regular board meeting Monday, November 14, 2016.
I believe Mrs. Kvalo has done a magnificent job as the principal of Portage High School. Mrs. Kvalo balances the complexities of the job with great easy and does so with the assistance of a strong support staff. She is always positive or upbeat in her interactions with others and never has a negative thing to say publicly about our school or community. Additionally, Mrs. Kvalo is a highly visible leader and her presence at all school events is important to students and staff. The principal is often the leader of these rituals and they reaffirm the values of the school through what they attend to (Deal & Peterson, 1994, p. 30).
Two weeks ago, we had a short conversation about what is the process of getting n the nursing program at FAU, and what I suppose to do to get financial support for the school fees. And how much the four years program will cost. I have financial aid at Broward College, pretty soon they are going to kick me out, because I have bunch of credit.
I encourage you to request an appointment with your instructor during her office hours. At this point of the term, you should have at least 4
There is no class 10/25. I will be out of town. During this extra time, students should complete outstanding assignments from Les 1-6. They can also earn extra points toward their grade (not tickets, but actual grade points!) by completing an extra credit assignment I'll explain next week.
Let’s review when upcoming classes begin so you can create a schedule that suits your needs:
We met the other day in your office and I was going to sign up for BIO 101 at CPCC for a general science crdit but the times they offer do not work for me so I was wondering if I could take an Anatomy and Physiology class instead still as a general science credit. Also I was wondering if I could take a criminal justice counseling class just as an elective credit, and credit hour
The events that took place at Washington High Schools have caused a division between the students, teachers and administration. While some support the decision the principal has made to suspend the students for their untasteful talent show performance, others question its effectiveness. Shortly after the suspension, the students began segregating themselves and exchanging racial comments. The situation has escalated out of control and it has become a political one; leaders of the African American community want to discuss the talent show protest and are demanding a meeting with the principal.
