What is considered terrorism? There are two definitions for terrorism in the FBI website. The first definitions we get is for International Terrorism “International terrorism: Perpetrated by individuals and/or groups inspired by or associated with designated foreign terrorist organizations or nations (state-sponsored).” The FBI also gives an example that being “the December 2, 2015 shooting in San Bernardino, CA, that killed 14 people and wounded 22 which involved a married couple who radicalized for some time prior to the attack and were inspired by multiple extremist ideologies and foreign terrorist organizations.” To explain the definition that is in the website, what they really mean is International Terrorism is when a group or individual, …show more content…

Two recent Attacks on US land were the Las Vegas shooting back in october and the incident in New York City where a driver drove on a bike path on purpose trying to kill as many people as possible back on Halloween. What do this two incident have in common? Both of the perpetrators were trying to kill as many people as possible. But why does President Trump consider one a mental health issue and the other one terrorism. Right after the incident in Las Vegas happened President Trump said the following things “He's a sick man, a demented man, lot of problems, I guess. We’re looking into him very, very seriously,” President Trump basically blamed the incident on the shooter being a “sick... And demented man”. But right after the NYC attack President Trump was quoted as saying the following “My thoughts, condolences and prayers to the victims and families of the New York City terrorist attack. God and your country are with you!” Why did President Trump considered the NYC attack as terrorism, But called the Las Vegas shooter a sick deranged
