Technology has changed in the last 40 years, and it is the number one productive force.Technology changed everyone’s life. Now, technology is very strong; for example, computers, phones, Internet etc. Every family has one computer; therefor many people use their own laptop to work, study, watch movies, chat, listen to music and play computer games. Everyone uses their phones. Smartphone is very smart and acts like a computer. For more than a decade now, I’ve been spending a lot of time online, searching and surfing and sometimes adding to the great databases of the Internet.” We spend a lot of time face to computer, phone and television. There are many white collar workers need to face to computer long time. They always sit a long time, and keep up. Most white collar workers have cervical spondylitis and disc protrusion. Most teenager play the computer game everyday, then they must be myopic. The myopic teenager are more and more. Another thing is genetically modified foods. Genetically modified foods are unhealthy. In “10 Reasons to Avoid GMOs”, the writer said “Numerous health problems increased after GMOs were introduced in 1996. The percentage of Americans with three or more chronic illnesses jumped from 7% to 13% in just 9 years; food allergies skyrocketed, and disorders such as autism, reproductive disorders, digestive problems, and others are on the rise.” Incidence of diseases are increased in genetically modified foods. Technology makes our lives unhealthy. It also lets us get bad traffic. Finally, we should realize as technology gets better, we get terrible traffic.
