Summer Camp Persuasive Letter

I genuinely appreciate you addressing your concern about the owls. I am writing to you to inform you that I will do everything in my power to make sure that no burrowing owls lose their lives in the construction of the next Mother Paula’s Pancake House. Now that this issue has been brought to my attention, I assure you, it will not be forgotten. At Mother Paula’s, all customer concerns are handled with utmost care and consideration. We will take all the necessary steps and precautions to make sure that no owl is left behind.

As our long school year comes a close, the kids dream about the warm weather to follow and we begin to plan for the summer.

In this paper I will discuss the Final Argument in Plato’s Phaedo. In this argument Socrates concludes, “Then, Cebes, beyond question, the soul is immortal and imperishable, and our souls will truly exist in another world (Plato, 1689).” This argument may be the most convincing of his arguments about the afterlife, but the way in which he comes to his conclusion that the soul is immortal and indestructible is flawed, and because of this, I find that Plato’s final argument is not sound and lacking validity. I feel this argument is an unsound deductive argument. In order to show evidence of this, I will examine how Plato reached his conclusion.

The debate of school uniforms has been going on for a while. Although both sides are easily debatable, I personally choose the side of having school uniforms.

If you feel that I don't need to drive all the way to Inver Grove Heights, it's fine. I feel that I got my plan figured out fairly well; however, I would like to have a phone call or skype just so we can review my plan. If it's necessary for me to go to Inver Grove Heights, that is fine with me also.

I'm emailing you on behalf of the Voyager Team. We understand that Seth is diagnosed with ADD and taking medications at home, but we are concerned as a term with his behavior in class and in the hall. We are hoping that you can help us by talking to Seth about his behavior.

Wal-Mart is heavily criticized for its low level of health benefits (Boatright, 2012, 187). Our workers earn low wages and cannot elect health insurance because of the amount they would have to pay on a monthly basis. This is important to the families of the Wal-Mart employee who depend of the Wal-Mart insurance plan. I am aware that cost reduction and saving money is a priority for Wal-Mart. I understand how implementing your proposals will achieve those goals. However, I don’t support this action and I won’t enforce it.
