Dear donor of the Adelaide Czarnecki Endowed Scholarship,
I was thrilled to find out about this scholarship and want to thank you personally for giving students like me the opportunity for further financial assistance in college. I appreciate your contribution to the education of my generation, the future leaders of the world.
I grew up in an impoverished community with a lack of an educational culture. As I faced academic and financial obstacles, I realized how important education is. I am the first person in my family to pursue a higher education at a four year university. After graduating high school in June of 2016, I aspire to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and specialize in pediatrics.
Being awarded with this scholarship will
After graduating Anacortes High school I plan on attending a four year private liberal arts university. I will be pursing a Bachelors of Science in Nursing leading to a career as a Registered Nurse. My main interest is a specialty in pediatrics. Following a month stay at Children's Hospital after enduring emergency surgery and a difficult recovery I decided nursing is what I'm meant to do. The nurses inspired me, and I hope that I can help a family and child in the same way that they helped
With the contribution you kindly provided this year, we were delighted to provide needed scholarships to dozens of extremely worthy recipients including many young people and women who would not otherwise have been able to participate. I wish you could have met them personally. It was thrilling. Many of the first time attendees commented how inspiring they found the conference, and quite a few are looking forward to participating again next time. Thank you for making that possible.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR GENEROUS SCHOLARSHIP, I am now one-step closer to achieve of my goal.
Looking back now over my past year here at Trinity, I am able to more fully appreciate than last year how well the goals of both the College and the Scholarship complement each other, and how in many respects they parallel each other. As a result of this, I – along with my fellow scholars – am able to experience to the fullest the various opportunities that Trinity College has to offer, and for this I would like to express my sincere gratitude. Thank
I personally thank you for your generosity in giving me your Corps of Cadets Scholarship. My family and I are grateful for your Support
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the Lindholm-Lebovitz Endowed Scholarship available for students, and me, at Wheaton College. By having the scholarship it has enabled me to attend Wheaton for all four years and subsequently opened so many doors for me. At Wheaton I have been able to hold multiple leadership positions such as being president of a themed house and being one of the student bankers on campus. Additionally I have had the opportunity to study abroad which has shaped me in ways I never thought would. The support that student get here at Wheaton is one like no other, so thank you for giving me the opportunity to thrive.
On Monday March 5th, in room 5213, Professor Tague spoke about his fundraising that he has founded and his ASEBL journal. Professor Tague and his wife helped raise funds to send an Indonesian student to college on a four-year scholarship. The student who received the scholarship, is studying biology or forestry to help orangutans. Professor Tague and his wife, achieved this goal with the help from others and Professor Tague took this time to applaud all of these people that donated. He stated the names of all the people who took the time to donate to his fundraiser. We also learned how we can keep this scholarship going, by contributing to the organization. Professor Tague and his wife worked so hard to raise money for this scholarship and
I wish to take a moment to thank you for granting me the PECO Scholars Scholarship. I appreciate being part of the 5 million dollars you donate annually to help the community. I live at home with two hard working parents who spend most of their money ensuring that I receive a proper home life and a good education. This scholarship has allowed my parents to not have to worry about my books and school supply expenses for this coming school year. I am grateful that your scholarship has eased a portion of my family's financial concern.
If selected for this award, this scholarship will benefit me a great deal because it will assist me in paying back my tuition, furtherance me in purchasing books for my classes
After i graduate I’m attending Clarion University to pursue my career in nursing. I choose to go in this path because every since I was little I always had the passion for nursing, since that day I made myself believe I will become a nurse that. The people that have inspired me were my father and Mrs. Rowles my father always told me he wanted me to do better than what he did in life so I’m doing something better with my life I look up to my dad he's a big part of my life. Mrs. Rowles also inspires me even though she's a really tough teacher she has inspired me every single day, just the way she teaches keeps me motivated and actually want to be in school. Mrs. Rowles and my father both make me realize how much I love being in school and how
Since I was young, the power of knowledge sparked my individuality. It was inevitable that I was going to attend college in order to prepare myself for a profession in this society. I was twelve years old when I first knew I wanted to become a physician, and at such a young age I did extensive research on the requirements to fulfill this profession. I was then immensely motivated to do well in my studies to follow my dreams, for I know that one day all my hard work in school will be worth it.
I’d like to start this letter off by thanking you for this scholarship. Without it, my chances of going to Texas Tech would have been much smaller. I currently live in Dexter, Michigan. I moved to Michigan from Austin, Texas about 5 years ago and have longed to be back in Texas ever since. I have two older brothers who are both attending college and a younger brother who is a freshman in high school. My parents are both from Vietnam and only my dad has attended college and has a job since my mother has a hearing disability and no education. I chose to attend Texas Tech University because I've heard that it is a very good school from friends who are currently attending TTU and after looking into the school and its programs, I found it to be
Throughout all of my life, I have always wanted to help others. By attaining this scholarship, I will be one step closer to achieving my life goals. I have high ambitions that reflect my outstanding academic history, and I intend to improve society’s overall quality life with a degree in biomedical engineering. I am a very persistent person, and will stop at nothing to achieve the outcome I desire. I feel that I deserve to win this scholarship because I know that I will put the money to good use toward my studies. The scholarship will not only provide some much-needed financial assistance, but also allow me to attend an out-of-state university that will enhance and expand my capabilities to their fullest. With this scholarship, I can
Thus, I do not receive any financial support from my family, other than to depend on scholarships. That being the case, my financial needs are really high. In order to make this unbelievable trip come alive, I will need this scholarship. Likewise, by supporting my goal this scholarship will help spread my newfound insight and give me the opportunity to make a difference in just not my local community, but an outside community as well to gain inside and outside experiences. Therefore, I would like to thank you so much for your
Going to college has been a dream of mine growing up. I am the first ever in my family to go to college but figuring out how to pay for it has been a challenge. I desire to achieve my academic and career goals and this scholarship can help me succeed in my journey.
