I would like to nominate Cameron Reginato for the Spirit Award. Cameron has been such a great help to me during this busy time with the CUDL Loans increasing. He has taken several hours out of his time to help me process and keep up with the CUDL Loans. His willingness to help out another department and learn a new process has been such a great help to the Loan Center. He has done an exceptional job and there is no way I could have done this process without his help. Thanks to Cameron’s help we have manage to keep up on the CUDL file and keep the dealers happy.
The Raymond L. Gardner Alumnus of the Year Award was donated in memory of Raymond Gardner, who was a Washington Phi and served on the General Council. The first award was presented in 1960, and has since been awarded every year to an alumnus who demonstrates the teachings of Phi Delta Theta through their contributions to higher education and the community.
Also, as this scholarship is coming affiliated with the church, I feel that I have represented our church well, here in Fairfield throughout the years, which should also play a role in determining the recipient for this award. As soon as I moved from St. Josephs in Pleasant Plain to St. Mary’s, I became heavily involved. I became an altar server as soon as I could, and have continued to be an altar server ever since, even filling in if the need arises as more young kids came into our church. I have helped out with a wide variety of church events, along with attending church every Sunday even if it is not “convenient” to go. Even at college, I, along with my brother who is currently attending Iowa State University, plan to go to church every
It is my profound pleasure to recommend Nakhim Seng for the C.C. “Jitter” Nolen Spirit Award. Nakhim is an intelligent and intrinsically motivated person. More importantly he feels no need to be the center of attention, but if he finds himself there he handles it like a seasoned veteran of the world. I am honored for the opportunity to have witnessed his strength of character as it has propelled him into adulthood. Put simply, Nakhim rises to every challenge he sets for himself and rarely needs anyone to raise the bar for him. He is truly a self-motivated, self-starter who loves to discover the mysteries of the world and who revels in their unraveling. To say it is a pleasure to write this nomination is an understatement.
Please join me in supporting and congratulating our own Jake Lazarow for a job well done.
Tuck Northrop should receive the Beard Award because I truly cannot think of a person who is as caring and kind as he is and also excels in so many areas. I’m a junior at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, and though Tuck is not one of my academic teachers, he coaches me in both the fall and spring on our high school sailing team.
We can not begin the thank you enough for the Hero Award you and the Luft Family presented to Preston. We feel so honored and appreciate that both families were able to come and present this to him. It means so much to know that Preston is out on the roads helping bring awareness to different causes and running in honor of those who can not. Preston may not speak words but I know he is so proud of this Hero Award. Again, Thank You for this special award and being present to present it to him on awards night. Hugs to all!
Congratulations I.J.! On receiving the first ever Richmond Flying Squirrels Spirit Award. I wish I could have been there in person to see you get this award. Please join us in supporting Brandon A. Jessup as he has a track record as a leader in our community and we are excited about the inspiration he will glean and propagate based on this
During the breakouts I went to room B4 for child welfare ad homeless discussion station, every discussion is based on budget founding and budget cut. Congratulations to the two awards winners, State Senator of the year: Senator Kwame Raoul and State Representative of the year Representative Kelly Cassidy.
I’d like to start off by thanking everyone involved in me being here today. Not just on this stage, but here mentally in my life. The fans are especially a big part of why and how i’m here today. For every young girl who’s ever came to one of our games and desires to get here in life, I know how you felt. I remember my dad alway bringing me to USSSA softball games and watching every move they made so I could be just like them. You guys are the reason why I get up every morning and go to practice every night, no matter the aching. While many of you voted for me to win this award, there are definitely still people who would’ve never voted for me in a million years. But those people don’t matter in life. Those people shouldn’t have an affect
I am pleased to nominate Zury Lopez for the Rock Star Award. Zury is a hard working individual who takes her time to help anyone and everyone around her. She has a warm and cheerful personality that makes everyone new to WTW feel welcomed and at ease.
This month we’re recognizing Kristin Knox, a Unit Manager for Student Loans Collections in Kansas City. Kristin has been with Citibank for 15 years and in her current role as Unit Manager for Student Loans for 9 years. Unit Manager may be her official title, but Kristin is a jack-of-all-trades, so to speak. She is the go-to person and subject matter expert on a variety of topics from Citi Source to technology issues and client relationship questions. She has overseen a number of projects for the business like transitioning agents to work at home, and working on policy and procedure changes to strengthen our focus on the client.
Thank you for that wonderful introduction, [announcer's name]. Ladies and gentlemen, it is indeed a pleasure to be receiving this award in behalf of my close relative, Celestine de la Paz, who unfortunately can't be with us today because somebody's too busy filming their next blockbuster in Hollywood.
In my opinion, the best person to get this award is my Mom. I decided that my Mom get’s this award considering the fact that she has opened a Chinese school along with a summer camp. Therefore, I admire her because I would like to continue her Chinese school along with her summer camp. I prefer this path because it would be an exceptional path because I have helped her with her school, also, I’m pretty useful for the job. I just have to help keep the kids safe and help my mom do some work. Therefore, I also admire her because she can start this school, I remember the time when my family was handing out flyers one freezing afternoon. I also remember when our school only had 10 students and half of them were my Mom’s friends. I also remember
The title of the book that I read was Bel Canto. Bel Canto was written by Ann Patchett, and published in 2001. The setting of this work of literature is known to be in South America; however, the country within the continent is unknown. One theme, that can be drawn from this work is that a one of the most basic human impulses is civilizing with other humans. Many people believe that if a group of people were in captivity, then they would immediately resort to violence and trying to dominate each other. However, Bel Canto suggest that, if put in that same situation, that the human impulse would not be violence, but that our first impulse would be to civilize with one another.
