Let me know if you would like to talk further about any internship opportunities you currently offer or have open. I would also love to hear any feed back on what you have seen so far if you have any. Thank you so much for your time. I look forward to hearing from
My first real interview: I was applying for a hospital internship program called the Pathmaker Internship. I felt that I had done decently, but there’s always that one thing. The one that you think will ruin all your chances of success. Next came the waiting for that dreaded rejection email. Nevertheless, that grueling month went by and one night, by surprise, I received that dreaded email.
My motivation is to be part of moving the U.S. government into the 21st century. The 115th Congress will face many challenges shaping U.S. technology policies and regulations. As a Congressional Innovation Intern, I will improve my capacity to effect change by applying my technology and policy skills to assisting with this effort. The internship will provide invaluable experience in learning how legislative change happens in Congress. Taken together, these will enhance my ability to effect the change I anticipate in my future career.
After conducting researches on both Principal Financial Group and New York Life Insurance Company, I would be more likely to choose to work at Principal Financial Group. Both companies have strong background. Also, the products (insurance, investment, retirement solution) and services they provide for their customer are almost similar. Two companies, Principal and New York Life help individuals to create a plan that is the best fit for each person and design to be achievable and effective. In addition, it is appeal to me that both companies value and respect their employees. New York Life have a diversity environment and provide training programs for their agents. On the other hand, Principal not only value their employees, but
As a first generation college student and an alumnus of the HACU National Internship Program (Summer 2016) I have faced academic adversities but have also experienced the benefits of the HACU HNIP first hand. Last summer as an intern for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs I was able to grow academically, personally, and professionally through HNIP. Having been part of the program has motivated me to want to continue to grow professionally and I believe that HACU can facilitate this growth. In addition to this, being the first in my family to pursue an education beyond that of a high school diploma and seeing the effects on my family is the driving force behind my pursuit of success. Prior to my acceptance to a four-year university higher
As a result of the success achieved during the first year of the IPE internship, the DHHS and USG open the internship to more academic disciplines such as Criminal Justice and Health and Health Information Management. The MC DHHS work with the faculty to ensure that students participating in this internship are able to visit site such as the Linkage to Learning at Summit Hall Elementary School, Homeless Men’s Shelter, Dennis Avenue Health Center to name a few. Furthermore, communication between the faculty at Universities at Shady Grove and the staff at the Department of Health and Human Services ensure that the learning objective in the IPE curriculum are an essential part of this internship. I have also attached my PDF portfolio for more information about what I do. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank
My internship term at EPRA has gone by with minimal issues. I have genuinely enjoyed working with all of my colleagues and the position itself has been interesting. I would say that the largest issue facing EPRA as a whole would be the distrust on environmental initiatives that was previously discussed. There has, however, been a prevailing issue with my job specifically. As mentioned, the auditing department at EPRA is relatively new. Due to this, very few employees have had to be trained as a compliance analyst in the past. To be specific, only six people (including the four that are currently on the team) have had to learn the position. Included in the six are two employees who were hired to help start the auditing department
This internship was one that really opened my eye and to getting me out of South Carolina for a year. It’s something that I would be really scared about, but I also would be really excited to see what Chicago, Illinois has in store for me. The LifeStyle Physical Therapy and Balance Center is located in Chicago, Illinois on 1330 Lincoln North Avenue. This place is within walking distance to all major public transportations. Within this intern, I would have major responsibilities such as listed on the website: observing patients, secure patients into and out of therapy equipment, transport patients to and from treatments, record treatment given and equipment used, clean and organize work area, perform clerical duties, maintain working equipment
Every chapter must come to a close and today I certainly close one in my life. When I began this internship, I must admit I had no idea what to expect. I can still remember the first day of my internship and the feelings of anxiety and nervousness combined with the uncertainty of what 400 hours of this would be like. I didn’t know what an SSA was or their responsibilities other than transporting children, which Supervisor Carol had explained would be my main responsibility. I remember coming in that Monday and having my mentor Garret help me understand the paperwork so that I could do the transports that I was going to do later that day. I can still remember him taking the time to and answer any questions and highlight all the important information, so I wouldn’t get overwhelmed with all the other information.
The most thought provoking question an individual can ask you is where do you see yourself in long period of time. This question tends to evoke a great deal of wondering, for the simple fact that the average person truly does not know. However, I am not an average person and I have a sense of where I will be in the next six years. Before I tell my future endeavors I want to brief description about myself, I see myself as a determined and driven person that will stop at nothing in order to be successful. These skills tie into my goals because, in the next six-year, I want to be a filmmaker as well a strong philanthropist in my community. The reason why the Jersey City Summer Internship Program can assist me with my goal is by providing me with
Internships are extraordinary opportunities to learn and grow. Internships are mostly designed to expand the depth and the breadth of the academic learning in the particular areas of the study. Internship is an opportunity to receive experience in applying all formulas, methods, theories in the classroom to specific experiences in the real world and to see how it actually works.
My goals for the start for my internship were simple, but quickly evolved. My goals were to gain experience and build my resume, while bringing the lessons I have learnt in college, and using my skills as an engineer to help the department of public works. Now my goals have become more specific; I would like to learn more about sewer operations, I would like to develop my computing and design skills using the tools available to the Hydraulic section and I would like to mature as an engineering professional. While at the hydraulics section, I have access to programs like MUNSYS, as well as ArcGIS. As an intern, I update and maintain sewer related features on these programs. I would like to learn everything I can to develop my skills as a designer to help me become a better engineer.
During my time at Accounting Firm X I learned many lessons that apply not only to accounting and the principles and practices associated with that subject, but also to life as a professional in a real world work setting. The purpose of this essay is to highlight my experiences at Accounting Firm X to shed light upon key learning experiences that can contribute to a holistic educational experience. In this essay I will first describe my goals and expectations. Next, I will go in to detail about my daily routine and how these exercises contributed toward the overall experience. I will then explore the overall lessons learned from my time spent at the firm.
Today was the first day of internship. I attended a new hire training secession about 8 hours and heard about the history of Novogradac & Company LLP, met the partners of the firm, completed all new hire paperwork and turned in to HR. In addition, I learned about ProSystem Engagement which company has been using for audit and tax preparation software. At the end of the day, all intern received a tour of office and met their own team members.
After this internship made me realised how diverse engineering fields and there is so much new knowledge to learn, considering myself with electrical power engineering background working in construction site which may related on civil engineering field. When I studied the project plan documentations, there is some new term and I need to find extra information on the Internet myself to understand more about the ongoing project. Having said that, knowledge that I have obtained throughout my study in ECU proved to be useful such as basic CAD, mechanic and material courses during my first and second year which make me easier to understand the structure drafting of the floor plans.
