The StrengthsFinder Survey showed me that my five strengths were: strategic, futuristic, responsibility, relator, and belief. I feel like these strengths have made m into the woman that I am today, and will also continue to help me mold into the woman I will become. I feel that I am strategic, because I always seek out the main goal in everything that I do (Gallup, 2010). I was taught responsibility at a young age, but when I turned sixteen I had to get a job. My mother taught me how to manage my money when I got my first paycheck. I learned that you always get what you need first, and then wants can come later on after responsibilities are taken care of. Since I learned this at a young age I have goo credit at the age of 23. …show more content…
People find me as a good realtor, because I have experienced a lot t a young age, or I can relate to their situations in some way. Being a good listener is also why people can come to me with their problems and talk to me about anything. My beliefs in God is the one thing that has made me into the person I am today. Without beliefs, a person does not have their basics for life. My beliefs have kept me out of bad situations, and has taught me a lot. I have learned how to deal with a lot of stressful situations. My life is guided my what I believe in, and I will continue to grow with what my beliefs continue to teach me. I think that an organization can be developed better if they know the strengths of the employees and let them be used. If every company hired people based off of their strengths the company would benefit greatly from it. Before employees are hired, their strengths should be known. Knowing the strengths before hand can help develop the company if they excel at what you need to be done. I think that employees should have a strengths finder test a requirement in the hiring process. Old employees should also take the strengthsfinder test

I think organization do not take enough time to identify the strengths each person has. When we join an organization, we are put in positions where we are needed, versus doing what we know best. I hear often at my job the term “business needs.” What I understand from that is we need to do what is best for business. But if the business took time to understand and applied the talents within the company, the business needs will flourish.

Based on the personal attributes above, I can comfortably mention that one of my key strengths is determination. As mentioned, I am always focused and I work extremely hard to achieve what I want. I remember sometimes back, I was lagging behind in certain subject at school and I resolved to improve in it extensively. First, I set a realistic goal to achieve at the end of the term and I came up with strategies to help me meet the goal. I demonstrated my determination in this subject effectively through employing the strategies set to the latter. Eventually, I achieved my goal and I remember I performed better than I had performed the previous semesters.

Before entering college, I have never done any survey that could point out my strengths. However, currently I know what my five strengths are and I am trying to focus on it to make it more powerful and useful. Five of my strengths are restorative, includer, consistency, responsibility and positivity. I do not know it is exactly right for me and it also depends on the situation. At the moment, I found out that four of the strengths are true to me, however, positivity, it does have it in my blood but if I am on a deadline for assignment and I have not finished it, I would not be positivity.
The first of my strengths that I will talk about is Competition, I am so competitive I am always trying compete with myself and with my peers. An example of an area in my life right now where being competitive can help the people around me is in football, I am a red shirt which means that I practice with the team but I don't play in games, so during practice I go up against the starting defense and run our opponent's offense to give the starters a good look at what they will play against. Every repetition of offense that I can compete in I take as an opportunity to make my teammates better and to make them understand the play type of the other team. Even competing in the classroom can improve the competitiveness of my peers, if I have a teammate in the same class I can motivate them to get an A or do all of their homework to make them better. I like to know that I am doing the best I can in a class, I am almost like a perfectionist also because if something I did is not perfect I beat myself up, so with this aspect I like to see my friends do as well in class or a competition as they can. I am so competitive that even though I don't play on game day it makes me angry when we lose because I want to see my teammates succeed.
My five greatest strengths are; empathy, consistency, relator, deliberative and discipline. After taking the test, it was very interesting because some of the strengths I found out that I had; I didn’t know I had them.
