As a graduate of Heald college in Concord California, I have excelled through the academic curriculum for the two years that I have spent my commitment and dedication to earn the title as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. The phrase, “why are you going to be a really good medical assistant?” Well, I don’t see myself as a really good medical assistant. I see myself as an individual who is devoted into the medical field which is a passion that I see fit in my line of duty. I feel that being a really good medical assistant does not define who they really are as a person in the medical work force. The phrase really good as I see it is a person who knows how the do the job but does not give any aspect of the passion or the need to learn more.
My goals are to get certified as Certified Nursing Assistant, then get certified as a Medical Assistant while I pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Afterwards, I will enter graduate school to specialize in cardiology and become a cardiac physician. I figured becoming a certified nursing assistant then a medical assistant will give me a closer feel to doing what I love besides shadowing doctors and nurses as I already do.
I want to be a part of Keiser University's Physician Assistant Program because it is one of the best in South Florida. I agree with its mission statements and goals. This 24-month curriculum will allow me to reach my goal of pursuing my career as a Physician Assistant, sooner than most programs. It is centrally located so that most students have a minimum commute of 15-20 minutes. I am impressed by Keiser's excellent reputation of job placement among graduating PA students. According to present students, this school has a low professor to student ratio. I am eager to participate in this type of learning environment. Also, I am happy to see that the PANCE rate has been improving as the program strives to prepare students for the national certification

Jessica was very knowledgeable about her agency or hospital. She may have not remember her agency’s mission statement from work from word, but who can. However, she was able to pinpoint the importance of the mission statement, which was kindness. She understands what her role in the hospital and was able to provide how the hospital runs. For example, the hospital is a smaller hospital in an more urban area and she can only provide so much services for the client and the rest she has to refer her clients to bigger hospital or to other agency for treatment and resources. She knows that the majority of the people seeking treatment at the hospital are people who have Medicaid or Medi-cal so she needs to keep up with policies regarding their healthcare provider. Overall she knows what her agency mission and goals are, she understands who her clients are and she has knowledge and resources to help provide for her clients and lastly she has the passion and determination to continue working in a medical setting.

I come from a small village in Pakistan which is an underprivilded community with limited resources. Seeing the difficulties people had to go through to receieve medical care was originally my motivation to choose the pre-medical track. I have always wanted to provide help to the underprividleged because I have closely seen the lack of medical resources that many third world counries have, which results in pateints not given proper medical care. Their minor sympoms are not given attention to, resulting in high rates of critical illnesses. I hope to apply my skills and experiences by providing hands-on care. By volunteering as a medical assistant, I hope to make a small difference in both the patients' and the medical professionals' lives. I

A mission statement is a statement of the purpose of a company, organization or person; its reason for existing; a written declaration of an organization's core purpose and focus that normally remains unchanged over time. A personal mission statement is developed in much the same way that an organizational mission statement is created. A personal mission statement is a brief description of what an individual wants to focus on, wants to accomplish and wants to become. It is a way to focus energy, actions, behaviors and decisions towards the things that are most important to the individual. My statement is what I plan to accomplish in my life.
It is little things like coming to class on time, reading your chapters ahead of time, completing homework, and studying will get you far while trying to graduate with excellent grades. Once I graduate then it’s time for me to get certified because most employers prefer that for you to get hired on the job. After that then it is time to go job hunting. Sometimes you may start at a job you will not like but you have to gain experience somewhere. After a few years on the job then I can find somewhere I truly want to work.
