They are also supporting by offering classes for nurses to better themselves or to renew certifications. Lake Health seems to have a trend of continuously offering events such as support groups, classes and screenings for the community. They continue to have future plans of research, having good technology, and ways to keep the community educated. I feel as if I could get a job on a Medical Surgical floor and work my way up at Lake West, which is why I chose them for my contingency employer. They are willing to accept associates, diplomas, and bachelors. They offer tuition reimbursement which is a positive along with a retirement plan. I also chose them because it is a short drive and they sometimes rotate their nurses to Tri-Point. They offer
This scholarship will help me get a head start in college. It will also help me to reach my career goals in the medical field.
I am currently enrolled as a full-time student in the medical assisting program at Peninsula College. At the end of fall quarter 2015, I will complete the program and earn my certification as a medical assistant. To achieve my goal, I have concentrated solely on my academic career. This has left little time in my life to resume a full-time position in the workforce. As a mother of three, I know how challenging it can be to go back to school, much less try to live on one income. I hope to use this scholarship to help ease my family's financial burden. A scholarship could help me buy extra supplies, such as scrubs, closed toe leather shoes, a stethoscope and other items that are not covered by financial aid, but are all vital materials needed
I am applying for financial aid in order to continue my studies and get a Master degree. I graduated from my undergraduate institution with positive marks. During my study I have shown myself as a diligent and motivated student, and responsible and determined person. I studied at the university for 4 years and I was in a budget group. This factor allowed me to focus only on my studies without thinking about earning money on my tuition.
When I enter college I want to peruse a career in the medical field, hopefully dentistry. Currently my ultimate goal is to become a maxillofacial surgeon, if I achieve this goal it will be a dream come true. People often tell me the years of study and the work load is intense but I am willing to give it my all. I fell in love with dentistry when I got my braces; I was fascinated by the process, procedure and outcome. I don’t want to settle with orthodontics I want to see tumors and perform dental reconstruction surgeries that can be revolutionary. With this scholarship I can save up money that I would be spending on books or tuition for the upcoming years that I will face. I will not let my lack of financial ability stop me from achieving this
I am a Junior chemistry student North Carolina A&T State University. North Carolina A&T has helped me get out of my comfort zone and connect with people spiritually and culturally. This institution has a big impact on me. I’ve met different people and learned many things. They have an excellent STEM program that enables me to study in chemistry. I wish to intern in a local hospital in North Carolina. Due to all of the medical bills from my mother’s multiple surgeries and treatments to remove or prevent cancer, I am unable to pay for college. My mother and father are not financially stable enough for the out-of-state tuition. This scholarship will help provide some financial assistance while I’m in college. It will help me achieve my goals during college and after college. It benefits and takes off some of the loans I will have to pay back after college. The opportunity to receive a scholarship from this organization will help me thrive as a student. I am a scholar and knowing that I have support, not only from my family but people who don’t know me very well encourages me to be successful. This scholarship is not only an opportunity but an experience. I believe this will help me gain responsibility, integrity, drive, and
I would be honored to receive your scholarship, and if selected, it would put me one step closer to my goal of becoming a biomedical engineer. I feel i deserve this scholarship because I am a very hard worker, extremely focused, and a determined student which is proven by my academic accomplishments throughout my school years. I have always enjoyed dedicating my time to helping others, whether it is reading to a group of children, taking care of injured animals, driving my grandma to her doctor's appointments, or working with my family at our local food bank. The money that I would receive from this scholarship will not be wasted or unappreciated; it will all go to my studies and allow me to attend an out-of-state college that specializes
Being awarded this scholarship would help me pursue a career in the medical field which I've longed for ever since I was old enough to even think about college.. 40 years ago, my parents refuged to the U.S. from Vietnam with nothing but a change of clothes and 16 dollars worth of Dongs (Vietnamese currency) From that moment on, they've worked their hardest to build a new life. To this day, they are still working full time to support me and they refuse to let me get a job so I can focus on school and not carry the burden of balancing work, school, and a social life. To make them happy, I’ve managed to keep my grades up, participate in clubs, take leadership positions in 4 clubs, and volunteer at a local visual arts center. They don't want me
Going to college has been a dream of mine growing up. I am the first ever in my family to go to college but figuring out how to pay for it has been a challenge. I desire to achieve my academic and career goals and this scholarship can help me succeed in my journey.
