Texas A&M Corpus Christi’s location as well as the atmosphere attracted me to the campus. I grew up in a small town and when I visited the campus I felt at home. I was in awe when I toured the nursing department and observed the demonstrations. I would like to apply for the biomedical science, nursing or health science program and pursue a career as a Physician Assistant.

My names is Tasneam Galiah. I go to Gwinnett Technical College and I'm majoring in Medical Assisting. I was a full time student and didn't have the opportunity to work till now.

I’m Breicen John Medina, I’m currently a Cadet Corporal and participating in Drill Team, and  also a Co-Commander for Color Guard for the Waimea JROTC program. For this coming up Promotion Board I’m going for Sergeant First Class as a LET 2. Being in these active teams it has taught me many things, being able to work with other cadets, and leading my peers. My accomplishment from the past year has led me to earn awards and also an increase in my knowledge of leadership and being a responsible person/cadet.

I am one of the applicants for the 2016-2017 DDS cycle and I am writing to your school to express my interest in your DDS program. NYU School of Dentistry have many unique aspects that, when combined, will be able to provide me an education that allows me to be an exceptional dentist. Two of the aspects that I am most interested in for NYU is the evidence-based dental curriculum and the community impact that the school has locally and globally. Because of these aspects, NYU School of Dentistry is one of my top choices for dental school.

Hi everyone! My name is Edlene Mendoza. I am currently taking Associate Degree in Medical Coding and Billing. I have two kids and I am married to a military. I see life science applies to my degree because in the future I will be either working in a doctor’s clinic or in the hospital in other words medical field. Science affects my life by learning about our body and health. My current knowledge level is about 85. I hope to learn a lot that will help me in the future with the career I will be in.

Education is a very important aspect to many people. For me, getting a well-rounded education will help me reach my lifetime goal of being happy and bringing that happiness to people by helping them. The spark of motivation came in a very unusual way. It happened when taking the mandatory Chemistry class sophomore year of high school. This class was interesting and eye-opening to me because it provided a different look on life. I knew after completing the class that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical and science field. Texas A&M University is my top choice school because I know that attending this school will give me the best education and it will also help me reach my goals in the future.

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University is an excellent place to create a better future for myself and for my community. At this University I can make others around me strive to be the best they can be by bring my unique passion and communication skills to campus. When I was a child I was very shy and quiet and now I have realized how much I have grown. After being in high school working on group assignments and joining extracurricular activities, I have built a great relationship with the students in my high school. In particular, the French Club that I joined during high school really helped me comfortably connect with my peers. I am sure I would greatly contribute to the world class health care at Mackenzie Health because I am a very hardworking and caring individual. Though I have many extracurricular activities, and am an engineering club executive member at my school; I always achieve excellent learning skills and had an overall grade 9 average of 93%. This shows that I have outstanding time management skills, pay attention to detail, and work hard to obtain my goals. These are important skills to have for any volunteer work but especially in a hospital because mistakes like delivering an item to the wrong room can mean it will take longer to cure a patient. Since I was young, people have been my passion. From an early age, I have been fascinated by how things work. It seems, listening to family, that I was never satisfied with a simple answer that machine runs on power; but always wanted to know more. As I completed my undergraduate education in ________, I became more and more interested in pursuing an advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering. My well-rounded educational pursuits thus far have served me well, engineering complimented by a sound background in the humanities and hard sciences. I have, though, a robust passion to learn more, to hone my skills even more in a field that has simply exploded over the past decade biomedical engineering.
