An interesting fact about St. Catherine school is that in September 1994 the total number of student exceeded 200 for the first time. Another interesting fact is that the members of the Rosary Apostolate visit each classroom every month and lead the Classes in praying the rosary. Also, in 1992 was the celebration of 25 years of the life of St. Catherine
A child is encouraged to see his or her talents as loving gifts from God and to see academic work as a way to cultivate those talents in preparation to love in return. St. Mary of the Angels School also fosters the child’s solidarity with teachers and fellow students, who accompany the child in his or her academic journey, each one helping the other in personal growth and lasting friendship. Our Whole-Family / Whole-Person Philosophy St. Mary of the Angels School has a common mission that includes a commitment to truth and a concern for the whole person of parents, teachers, and of our young people. Parents are the primary educators of their children—they are critical to their children's education—so we strongly emphasize the relationship of the school to the home.
'Behaviour Policy'. Our school maintains a consistent approach to behaviour at all times and by all members of the school community.
The Junior Civitans Club is a community service organization that I have been a member of throughout my high school career. I participated in three Relay for Life walks for life, and helped to raise hundreds of dollars for the Relay for Life cancer research campaign. In my Sophomore and Junior years, I was elected to be on the Leadership committee as a Representative and later a Secretary. This year, I was elected President of the club and preside over all meetings and service projects. The Greenwood High School chapter of Junior Civitans “adopted” a girl’s cottage at the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home this school year. The Connie Maxwell Children’s home provides residential children’s ministry to abused, abandoned, and neglected children.
Some schools with strong sporting traditions reinforce participation in sport. The sports that students are encouraged to participate in can depend on the school’s history and traditions, the facilities and equipment available, and the expertise of the teachers.

Our task is to choose two Jesuit secondary schools and to learn about their approach to the Jesuit teachings and beliefs. The first school, Fordham Preparatory School, is located in the United States. The second school Loyola High School is located in Canada. These schools wouldn 't be here today if it wasn 't for St. Ignatius of Loyola and his creation of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 1540. We will explain the dual purpose of Jesuit education and how both schools incorporate it, the history and general information of both schools, how they compare to Fairfield Prep, and how both schools show compassion.
Cameron Academy, the place where it all started for me. The first ever school that I had gone to. It was the place where I learned to fear anyone older and bigger than you because the teenagers there were not above fighting kindergarteners. Where I learned that the safest place to be after school was the office because the fights between the police and the students that took place outside on the front steps of the school were too brutal for me to witness; at least that's what my mom told me. That school was the place where I learned to be ashamed of any art that I may produce, to always keep it to myself, lest I be laughed at by the teachers. Cameron Academy is where I learned that “bad” kindergarteners who were in Ms. Valorie’s class got beat up.
Little Falls Community Schools have taught me so much knowledge in my thirteen years. I thought I knew a lot of information when I entered the high school, but I guess I was wrong. These past four years I have learned so much material from my teachers. Four years ago, I thought economics only dealt with money and that calculus would be really hard. Turns out, economics is not just about money but also about externalities and market structures; however, calculus is still hard. I have absorbed many different kinds of knowledge in my four years at Little Falls Community High School.
Teacher: I wanted to remind you all that 8th hour will be open every day this week in the cafeteria. This is a great opportunity for you to improve your grades, do homework, study for tests, or work on projects.
I believe the school endeavours to provide as much variety of opportunity as possible to allow each child to find something they are good at. The mission and aims show that the school recognises the diverse nature of its children and families, and their individual faiths, cultures and abilities and encourages its
I started middle school at Bethany Middle school, I had my two older cousins going to school with me. One is the same grade I am and the other is two years older. It was nice having them but we all hung out with different crowds and sometimes we would not agree on the same things so we would not always get along. My first day of middle school was not as bad as i thought it would have been due to the fact that the Bethany middle school was not big at all. My 6th grade year was tough for me when it came to school work, i was used to the work from Central Elementary school and the Bethany Schools were much more strict and left a lot of homework so it was a big change for me. I remember my English class was the hardest along with science but I
My desire to work in the Catholic School system stems primarily from the ability to share my faith openly in such an environment, however, the Catholic School’s focus on the growth of the whole person, spiritual and academic and its commitment to service in the community and the world are also very important to me.
