Spongebob Squarepants is a cartoon made in 1999 created by Stephen Hillenburg. Even Though it was created more than a decade ago it is still Nickelodeon’s most successful show ever made and is one of the most popular cartoons to date. Spongebob Squarepants centers around Spongebob, a walking talking sponge, and his misadventures in his hometown Bikini Bottom. The characters consist of mainly sea-creatures such as, Spongebob’s best friend, Patrick Star, his neighbor Squidward Tentacles, his boss,Mr.Krabs, and his friend Sandy Cheeks. Every episode is different so you never know what to expect.
There are currently 1,600+ episodes with each season having 20 or more episodes. The cartoon takes place in multiple settings but some of the main ones are Bikini Bottom, Goo Lagoon, The Krusty Krab and Spongebob’s house. The voices of the characters are Tom Kenny (Spongebob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward) and Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), and those are just the main characters! Some fun facts most people don't know are that the show was originally going to be named Spongeboy Ahoy! but they scrapped that for unknown reasons.

Plankton could have gone inside of Spongebob’s brain again, which means no sign of a break in, so he got the recipe and the formula. While he was at it he could have killed Mr. Krabs and framed
If we chew different brands of bubble gums for the same time, then I think Hubba Bubba Gum will make the biggest bubble.
Now, cartoons are known for their creativity of thinking outside the box. They create a new world where the fictional character can live and interact with other characters. There, they are meant to overcome some obstacle that can help the character become better at a skill and/or person. In this show the character seems to actually underdeveloped than developed. There are episodes in which the main character is taking his driver’s test and always end up failing.
These are the best cartoons I like Rug Rat, Bobs Burger and Sponged Bob Square Pants. I love these cartoons with my friend and my families.
Over half of Americans, 63.8% to be exact, feel they are not equally represented in the media (Horton 1). Being a kid and not truly knowing what to believe in when everything portrayed on the media is confusing can lead to segregation, delusion, and low self-esteem. While it is the child’s job to tell people what to display, the media is everyone's tool and what is showed should reflect a large amount of the population. However, other countries do not have this problem, as they excel in the varied media world. In India especially, where a sizeable 94% feel represented throughout their media (Hackett 1), this is done by the overwhelming amount of multiple races in television shows. While the portrayal of cartoons for children in America is
Interviewer: Today, I am interviewing Gloria Anzaldua on her book, Borderlands/La Frontera: The New Mestiza. Gloria’s book is inspired by her memories of living on the U.S.-Mexico border as a Mexican-American. The book combines Gloria’s own writing along with works from other creative minds to express her ideas on the U.S.-Mexico border and how that border affects the lives of Mexican-Americans. I will specifically question her on the ways she thinks the border shapes the cultural development of the people living around it. Let’s begin.
Milne gave Christopher Robin’s stuffed animals life, portraying them in the “Winnie the Pooh” book series on adventures and thrills. “Pooh” was the main character throughout the books, following other characters such as Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger. The books became best sellers, giving Milne a recognizable name
Throughout Monkey Beach, Identity is a constant and important theme. Lisa is trying to define herself in a world which does not appreciate indigenous traditions. Ma-ma-oo says that Gladys once had the same gift and that she could "know who was going to die next"(Robinson 98), but Gladys gave it up as she grew older. In the same way, Gladys is portrayed as fun-loving and adventurous in her youth. We are told of her having made enough snow angels while drunk that, “the whole front yard was covered with them”(Robinson 65). However, Gladys is a flat character who now believes the little man is merely a reoccurring dream. She has not just lost the gift, she has lost part of her culture and belief in the supernatural. Lisa's resistance to the dismissal of her gift is how she differs from her mother, and is a very important part of Lisa's character. Lisa's identity throughout the book is complex, but most importantly, she is underdeveloped as a person. It is important to note that the reason Lisa cannot communicate with the dead very well is because she lacks the required knowledge, this serves as metaphor for future generations being aware of their culture; but not nurturing it to a point of understanding.
Animation varies greatly between Japanese culture and that of the United States. While animation is usually revered as entertainment for children in the United States, Japanese animation, or “anime” as it is referred to both in Japan and in the West, is a form of media that is enjoyed by people of all ages. Unlike the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Spongebob Squarepants, both popular American animations in their times, anime focuses more on drama and varying genres with some even being pornographic in nature. The differing cultures of the United States and Japan can be
The purpose of this essay is to watch a movie and try to view the main character from three personality theorists perspectives. In the movie The Little Mermaid, Ariel is a mermaid princess who makes a deal with an evil sea-witch to meet a human prince who lives on land (Clements/Musker, 1989). In this essay, I will analyze the movie The Little Mermaid through Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory, Carl Jung’s theory of Archetypes, and Erik Erikson’s Stages of Development. While these theorists have much in common in terms of self-concept, their views on the main issues at hand vary accordingly.
In the beginning Bendy was a mischievous and happy cartoon character. He was in many adventures with his pals: Boris(dies), Mickey(leaves), Oswald(leaves and is forgotten), and Brooke(disappears).
Because of it’s basic cartoonish nature many people think The Simpsons is just a simple basic cartoon and nothing else. “the style of drawing that is used for these characters is
I went to watch The Little Mermaid with my parents. The playwright of this story was Doug Wright. We saw the play at Fossil Ridge High School on Saturday November 18th at 2 o’clock. It was an amazing play that gave a fun twist on the movie you know and love. Act 1 was almost completely under water. It introduced you to the setting, which is King Triton’s palace. You see curiosity and wonder in this part. In Act 2, Ariel spends most of her time in Prince Eric’s palace to win over his heart. You get to feel the love between these two at this point. There are also many characters that I fell in love with on the way. Some mains ones are Ariel, Prince Eric, Ursula, Flounder, Sebastian, and Scuttle. There were also some minor characters like King Triton, Ariel’s sisters, the maids, Chief Louis, and so many more. Each one adds something small, but together they create a great play.
First of all, Spongebob displays lots of unusual behavior which is a classification of abnormal psychology. Unusual behaviors are any uncommon behavior or mental processing. Unusual behaviors are behaviors that minorities. Spongebob exhibits unusual behavior because he lives in a pineapple under the sea. Nobody else in town lives in a pineapple because everybody else usually lives in metal buildings. Living in a pineapple is a minority in Bikini Bottom, thus making it an unusual behavior. Spongebob also exhibits unusual behavior when he raises a baby calm. Spongebob takes in this orphan of a baby calm and raises it as his own baby. This is an unusual behavior because nobody else in town raises calms as babies. This behavior of Spongebob raising a calm as his baby is a minority, proving that Spongebob displays unusual behavior. Spongebob also shows unusual behavior when he goes to Goofy Goober restaurant with Patrick. The Goofy Goober is a restaurant that is meant for little kids and their parents. This behavior is unusual because it is uncommon for adults to go to the Goofy Goober without kids.
Do you watch cartoons? I do. Not bugs bunny; I'm talking about anime. Do you know what that is?
