The Ticket Looking from the speedometer to the rearview I see flashing blue and reds lights. I got a speeding ticket because I was going 65 in a 40 and my friend was with me and it was open road I knew I shouldn't do it but I felt like I wanted the adrenaline rush. The one time I do speed I get pulled over on wadsworth by the king soopers union bank and the gas station on the corner were wadsworth meets florida. When the cop car pulled over it was an older gentlemen and he asked me for license and registration please like they always do which I then gave to him and he asked me if I knew why I was pulled over and I said because I was speeding I am not going to lie to him. Then he pulled my friend out of the car because he smelt like alcohol
On 6/22/2016, it was a normal condition weather on Thornton Road at 3:22 PM. The CHP officer had pulled me over passed the crossing of Thornton Road and Eight Mile Road. The officer had stated that I have been pulled over for driving at an unsafe speed of 71 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. I had asked the officer what type of device that he had used for clocking my speed. He had informed me that he was using a Radar device and had even shown me the device that he was using. After receiving the citation, I proceeded with my day. However,
On September 11, 2015, I was pulled over and accused of going 76mph on a road where the speed limit was 45mph. At first I was in shock because I was unaware that my driving was so recklessly, however, that same day one of my tires was found to be flat resulting in a trip to Tire Kingdom to purchase a new tire. When I arrived, a few of the mechanics on duty commented on the size of my tires. They informed me that the rims that were on my car at the time, and had been on my car since before I bought it, were nineteen inches long and the rims designed for my car are supposed to be fifteen inches long. They then went on to explain that due to the size of the tires versus the size of the car, my speedometer was actually displaying my speed to be
I approached the vehicle and made contacted with the driver, Jason Sweeney. I asked Jason if he was aware of why I stopped him, Jason stated yes it was because I was speeding. I advised Jason that it was because he cross over the center line, Jason stated “oh”. I asked Jason if he had Identification and proof of insurance. Jason stated he did not have his ID on him, and the vehicle was his grandmothers. Jason provided me his social security number. I ran Jason’s social through dispatch, dispatch advised me that Jason
During the weekends with Liberty Pass, all of us were really happy; we went to visit family, friends and loved ones, who lived several hours away by car or motorcycle. Some Cadets, whose families live in far away places, were happy as well. They would visit Sài Gòn in their freshly pressed cadet uniforms, proudly displaying the dangling gold Thủ Đức Academy lanyard and brightly shining Alpha insignias on their shoulders. Some of them even had flashing gold teeth to complement their insignias for additional charm. Every time I saw those shining smiles, I instantly thought of a popular playful version of a song I had learned when growing up: “Laugh for those gold teeth brighten up. Sing for those gold teeth freshen up ...”
I was pulled over by a police officer because I was going faster than I was supposed to in that designated area. The zone was a sixty-five mile per hour zone and I was do eighty. I have agreed to the terms that I was found guilty of this and now come to you the reader explaining why it may be dangerous to be speeding in certain areas and ultimately everywhere. During this experience I have learned that there are many consequences for not driving safe, because there is never a good reason to speed. I have learned that it is extremely dangerous to speed and that there will be consequences, even if they are minor like, obtaining a ticket, and occasionally they are major, like killing running into someone else. It does not matter what happens after, you should not be speeding ever because there is never a good
I was pulled over with illegal substances in the back of the vehicle, which I had no idea was in the trunk because it was not my vehicle. I was driving friends back to their dorms because I was acting as designated driver as I was not intoxicated, but they were. Yes, I was arrested, but later proved that I had no attachments to the substances. They saw that I had nothing to do with it because there were names on the containers or whatever the stuff was in, and again it was not my vehicle .
DUI school is a school where drivers convicted of DUI must go to complete a certain education program as ordered by the court. A DUI school needs to be licensed by California in order to be an acceptable program. Licensed DUI schools do NOT offer online programs; they only provide in-person programs. For the most part, you will only be allowed to enroll if you have a court order to attend a DUI school or if the DMV suspended your license for DUI. Licensed DUI programs provide several types of classes:
I was looking in my mirror at the red and blue flashing lights. My stomach dropped and I was scared about what was going to happen. I had already been pulled over twice in the last week, once for running a stop sign, the second for speeding. It’s about 1am and only that time because of the day light savings. It is now passed my curfew.
On the 24th of April 2016, I had just left Lake Hamilton School with two of my long time friends. We had just had a ceremony, and I had accepted a metal for completing the medical professions course, both level 1 and 2, throughout my junior and senior year. We had decided to take the Sunshine way home instead of the bypass. As I was driving down a straight stretch on sunshine I began to speed. Before I realized it a cop had passed me going the opposite direction. He then turned around and proceeded to pull me over. Once he had gotten onto me for driving so carelessly and not taking what could have happened into consideration, he then proceeded to tell me he was going to tow my car for such actions and asked if I had anything he needed to know
They claimed I was speeding because the speed dropped to 65 in one of the smaller towns I passed. I know now they lied to me because none of the cities in the area are listed at 65 (see the link below). And I never saw a sign saying 65. He said he was just going to give a warning.
Imagine that you’ve recently moved into a new town due to accepting a promotion for a new job. You’re excited for the next step in your career and the opportunities it will bring for you and your family. You’ve left home early to arrive to work on time when suddenly a cop pulls behind you, siren blaring and its florescent red and blue lights flashing. You slowly pull to the side after quickly checking your speedometer wondering what you could have done wrong. After turning off the car you pull out your license and registration and roll down your window as the officer approaches your driver’s side door. The officer directs his attention from the inspecting the outside of the car to you and asks if you’re new in town. After your response of yes
I picked Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci because he was a very intelligent and artistic man. While researching him I learned a lot of very interesting facts, but what most caught my eye is the way he viewed the world. Everything he saw that moved and eve if it didn't move he still wanted to know how it worked he grew up to be very hard working and honest man.
One of the biggest mistakes in my life occurred at that time. It was 1:45 am already and the highway was as very dark. I was still going 80, and I never thought there would be a sheriff automobile just waiting for someone at almost 2:00am in the morning to be speeding in an empty highway such as the one I was in. But some how he caught someone, and that “someone” was me. He pulled me over on the side of the
Throughout my high school career I always knew what I wanted to do. that was to become an airline pilot. With this dream in mind I had no way of paying for all of the certifications that go along with it. Then I was presented with the opportunity to go to Tri-County Technical Center(TCTC) for their commercial truck driving program. Now throughout the last semester I have obtained my Class B licence and working on my class A permit. That brings us to present day and my project. My project consists of learning about the inner workings of our detachable trailer at TCTC. When I say inner workings I mean, how to pre trip the trailer, how to load and unload, and attach and detach both sections. I will have a video in my slide show showing the the product
As I stated before, I like beach art work and ocean art pieces. I absolutely love the ocean and the beach. I think it is because I love the color blue! There is light blue, royal blue and navy blue just to name a few. Any shade of blue I go crazy for! I believe this is the reason I love the sky and the ocean so much! I for one certainly believe that blue is the most beautiful color on earth! Nonetheless it is also associated with depression and madness. The way an artist colors his or her creation, has to do a lot with the inner person the artists is and the way his or her soul sees things. The way the artist feels at the moment is what portrays that masterpiece, but most importantly his or her emotions and psyche play a major role.
