There are two Louisiana officers committing conspiracy against rights on the I-10. In short, a K-9 unit, consisting of two officers, illegally pulled me over and illegally searched my vehicle even after my objection. Location: west of Baton Rouge. Unfortunately, I did not get a name or badge number. One cop, the one working with the k-9, was white, probably late 20s or early 30s, with a shaved to the scalp head and slightly below average built and slightly below average height. The second cop was also white, with brown hair, above average built and above average height. Not sure which jurisdiction they worked for. --- The full story. I was east bound on the I-10 late at night. I had just passed Grosse Tete, LA (I know this because I …show more content…
They claimed I was speeding because the speed dropped to 65 in one of the smaller towns I passed. I know now they lied to me because none of the cities in the area are listed at 65 (see the link below). And I never saw a sign saying 65. He said he was just going to give a warning. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_limits_in_the_United_States_by_jurisdiction#Louisiana He then asked to search my car, I told him no. He then took the dog to sniff around my car. He would tap on my car and the dog would sniff there. He tapped high up, twice, so the dog had to stand up on my car to sniff there. He then said since the dog stood on my car he now gets to search it. Which is clearly not justification to do so, but he wasn't taking no for an answer. The other cop gets out to help search my car. While searching my car, I turn my head to watch and that new cop starts yelling at me not to move. Then the cop who worked with the K-9, after searching my vehicle, walked up behind me and started reading my rights like he was arresting me. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "I'm just messing with you." Then he starts to give a taunting
I notified dispatch that Officer Albert and I were out at the RSC. I parked our patrol car on the north side of the RSC and entered the north door. I heard Officer Smith on the radio say he was out with the subject near the Credit Union. I observed from across the RSC Officer J. Smith and Officer R. Faison standing next to a black male all the way by the Book Store. As I walked closer, I could see the black male with both of his hands up in the air and he was getting down on both of his knees. When I got to the Credit Union, I saw a set of crutches and a black bag laying on the floor. I told Officer Albert to stay here with these items as I continued to go behind the black male. Officer Faison kept trying to talk to the subject but he was clearly ignoring him. The subject who was later identified as
On 6/22/2016, it was a normal condition weather on Thornton Road at 3:22 PM. The CHP officer had pulled me over passed the crossing of Thornton Road and Eight Mile Road. The officer had stated that I have been pulled over for driving at an unsafe speed of 71 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. I had asked the officer what type of device that he had used for clocking my speed. He had informed me that he was using a Radar device and had even shown me the device that he was using. After receiving the citation, I proceeded with my day. However,
On 08/26/16 at 1:48pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was patrolling the 900 Block of Heyl Ave when I saw a black and white Chihuahua running loose with no known dog owner around. I followed the dog to 969 Heyl Ave where dog owner Donna Hanes open the door and let the dog inside. Ms. Hanes stated that the dog must have gotten loose when it was in the back yard. I asked Ms. Hanes if her dog was current on dog license and vaccinations, Ms. Hanes stated he was not. I issued Ms. Hanes violations for failure to license and failure to vaccinate her dog name Tito.
On September 11, 2015, I was pulled over and accused of going 76mph on a road where the speed limit was 45mph. At first I was in shock because I was unaware that my driving was so recklessly, however, that same day one of my tires was found to be flat resulting in a trip to Tire Kingdom to purchase a new tire. When I arrived, a few of the mechanics on duty commented on the size of my tires. They informed me that the rims that were on my car at the time, and had been on my car since before I bought it, were nineteen inches long and the rims designed for my car are supposed to be fifteen inches long. They then went on to explain that due to the size of the tires versus the size of the car, my speedometer was actually displaying my speed to be
On 11/22/16, at 4:02pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to the 600 block of Bedford Ave on dog at large patrol only. I arrived in the area and saw two dogs, one a small mix breed black and white and a tan and white pit bull, in the front of 681 Bedford Ave. I exited my vehicle and slowly approached the house. I knocked on the dog. Dog owner Robin Holmes-Muhammad answered the door. I asked if the two dogs on her porch belong to her, she stated that they did. I advised Ms. Holmes-Muhammad that we received a complaint that the dogs were running loose. Ms. Holmes-Muhammad apologized and took both dogs inside the house. Ms. Holmes-Muhammad stated that the tan/white pit bull does not really belong to her it was on her front porch
At approximately 12:27AM, Officer Struble issued a written warning and asked the driver if he could walk the K-9 dog around the vehicle. The driver refused to consent and was asked to exit the vehicle. A second officer arrived, at approximately
When we got to the station and while Officer Gausaches was doing paperwork I was eating in the briefing room. When another officer came in to take pictures of the heroine they had seized from a suspect that was not only trespassing but, need a Narcan shot. The officer showed me what heroine looked like and then asked if I knew what Narcan was and how it work I said no. He explained that Narcan gets rid of the opioid effects of heroine. As well if I wanted to be a police officer to get use to how it works because heroine is a big problem throughout the country. I am really learning that paperwork for police officer takes forever because we arrived at the station around 1250 and didn’t leave again till 2 because that is when Officer Gausaches was finished with the paper work. While patrolling around Easton Ave we came up on a scene by the Scarlet Pub. I’m not sure what occurred but, New Brunswick PD was there with multiple cars and Officer Gausaches after going over to talk with them explained they had someone locked up across the street. After that we got called over to the dorms by the dining hall on Cook Douglass. Apparently there was an ETOH a student had too much to drink and needed an
and advised him of his Miranda Rights. The male stated that he did not have ID
Kyser advised me that dog owner Sabrina White contacted him in regards to me impounding her dogs. Ms. White was currently in Alabama on her way home, her sister was reasonable for the dogs. It was agreed upon that Ms. White sister would take the dogs. I return to 5833 Riverton Road where I met with dog keeper Dorcas Padgett. I explained that to Ms. Padgett that we received a complainant of Pit Bull name Chica was loose. As I was unable to confined Chica back to the property, I impounded her and Terrier name Paint for not displaying a dog license. I explained to Ms. Padgett that their will be violations for both dogs. Ms. Padgett stated she would accept the violations. I asked to see Ms. Padgett identification, she complied. I issued Ms. Padgett violations for failure to license Chica and Paint. I released both dogs to Ms. Padgett. I cleared from the location at approximately
I was pulled over with illegal substances in the back of the vehicle, which I had no idea was in the trunk because it was not my vehicle. I was driving friends back to their dorms because I was acting as designated driver as I was not intoxicated, but they were. Yes, I was arrested, but later proved that I had no attachments to the substances. They saw that I had nothing to do with it because there were names on the containers or whatever the stuff was in, and again it was not my vehicle .
I was on my way to pick up a pizza I just ordered, and I was driving my roommate car. It was a black 2007 Cadillac CTS. So as I’m driving down the street I notice that they are a lot of police cars and I’m telling a friend of mine that was riding with me something isn’t right. I get to the last block on the street and I spotted another cop car and he flashes his lights and gets right behind me. Right before I know it about 10 plus police cars pull up flashing bright lights and blocking the entire street off. My teammate that was riding with we was so scared I had to calm him down. They had us sitting in the car for about 20 minutes and also have red beams all over the car, so now I’m getting a little nervous then finally they speak and give me all these direction to get out the car and when I finally turned around it was so many guns in face. I instantly get mad and filled with anger. They told me turn around and walk backwards then someone cuffed me and put me in the car. They did the same to my teammate. The cops were so scared it freaked me out. Then they rushed the car with their guns pointed at each angle of it thinking whoever they were looking for was in there. Once they realized we were good they asked us questions and let us know that they were looking for two black males in a black Cadillac. The two guys they were looking for had shot somebody. What’s crazy is, none of
While on patrol, i made contact with a bronze colored passenger car on George Wallace Dr, with no headlights on. I initiated a traffic stop. the vehicle pulled onto Sussex Ave. As I approached the vehicle, all the windows were rolled down and there was an overwhelming smell of green marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. After getting the driver information, I had the driver and the occupants step from the vehicle. All subjects were detained so I could search the vehicle. In the back seat, the was marijuana shake on the seat pad. there was no other marijuana found in the vehicle. the subjects were released and the driver was issued a warning for improper lights.

Crime in New Orleans has dropped significantly since Hurricane Katrina. The crime homicides went down by 1.15 percent. It may not sound like a big number, but it is less than the number before Hurricane Katrina. People started stealing from each other because they were poor and could not afford anything. Then the person would murder the guy who stole from him, or you have the people who just shoot teach other just because. These things still happen today but not as much as before the hurricane. I think the hurricane put everything in perspective to where anything could happen to anyone at any time.
Hey, based on your story that I just read, my questions to you is was the police officer White or Black female? what was your speed limit? were you going below the speed limit because that can draw attending? and was the music inside your car very laud? However, the police Officer was doing her job, based on reasonable suspicion. This law gave police Officers the right to stop and detain a person based on reasonable suspicion, and may even frisk the outside of their clothing for weapons, but not drugs. In your situation, what happened to you might not even be a racial profiling, and definitely not discrimination. Let me expand on the reason why I believe it was just a racial profiling, most law-enforcement officers uses personal characteristics
