Hello, I am Skyler Fox. After citizens from all over the world almost completely vanished from the explosion of the year 3500, the government took matters in their own hands. They transported the remaining ten survivors of the explosion and introduced them to life in the air, however, to keep the survivors extra safe they injected the memory serum, and offered a forgetting pill. These serums and pills were made to soothe the citizens and let them forget about the tragic catastrophe according to the Government officials. The government also elected Arthur Washington to become king of this new world. Government officials are now titled as lords. I am a descendant of a surgeon that was transported in air. My grandfather used to be considered the best surgeon in the past world. He named me Skyler Fox in hope of me becoming something special. …show more content…
ALL CITIZENS! THERE HAS BEEN AN ESCAPE FROM ONE OF OUR PRISONS! His name is Justice Evans. He is 5 ft. 11 inches and is dark skinned with long dark hair. Please report any suspicious activities.” Announced one of the lords from the television. My eyes bolted open and I sat up. Staring at the window in front of my bed the royal guards started stampeding the streets, yelling and directing each other and vehicles in the air zooming around. I sat there wondering how Justice Evans was imprisoned. After all, going to jail is a very rare thing. You would have to be practically inhumane to go to jail. I was just about to go back to sleep until I saw a shadow of a man coming full speed at me. CRASH! The sound of my window crashed into pieces. A man around 6 feet just tackled my window. Then he stood up. His face looked very familiar but I couldn’t quite pinpoint how or where his face looked familiar. I heard my parent’s bedroom door open. “SKYLER! Honey? Is everything alright?” yelled my mom from the outside of the door. The strange man clapped his hands together and was begging me not to say
The animal I was given for this assignment was the Channel Island Fox. They are considered to be near extinction animals with nearly about 2,500 fox left (last checked 2008). The Channel Island Fox is a type of fox that only lives on the Channel Islands, which is located around the coast of Southern California in about 19 to 61 miles away from the continental state. On a clear day in California, many visitors have the chance to see the islands over the shores. Within the eight islands, only six of the islands have the Channel Island Fox on their land. The six islands are San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, Santa Catalina, San Nicolas and San Clemente. Each island has different features which has given each island fox a different trait compared to each one, but they are still considered as Island Fox.
Whenever a good rainfall comes in, one thing that troubles councilmember Oscar Galvan’s mind are the dugouts at Todd Park being flooded once again.

Kit foxes, also called Vulpes Macrotis are among the smallest foxes in America. The kit fox is very easily mistaken for a dog however when you look at their appearance you realize that proportions are not that of a dog's. Many people often confuse the kit fox with its larger cousin, the grey desert fox.

In the book Foxcatcher, I could not help comparing Mark Schulz and me in terms of wrestling. I was a pretty good wrestler, but Mark Schultz became one of the best wrestlers of all time. He started his career later than me, he took losses harder than me, and he wrestled a different style compared to me.

Tara Stanielle Fox, a canadian hero who ran across the country on an artificial leg to raise money for cancer. Sadly, she had passed away before she could finish her run. Tara Fox will always be remembered for her determination, bravery, and perseverance. Did the previous sentences sound familiar? If they did, that's probably because they were about the famous canadian hero, Terry Fox, except they were about a woman, not a man. Terry Fox’s life would be very different if he was a woman because of gender inequality, feminism, and double standards.
If I had to chose some one to sing at my funeral it would be Jamie Foxx. Jamie is a very talented man that knows all about so and basically lived in the church growing up. He would really song how to tune his voice to ease the crowd with his singing. It would actually be the cheapest route as well because Jamie is also knows how to play instruments like the piano. The piano is such a beautiful instrument that really can warm your heart and calm you down. Jamie Foxx really knows how to play well he even went to school for music and was training for specific moments like this to ease a crowd and really ease and warm a crowds heart. However if things start to get too emotional Jamie is a comedian as well so he can always make my family happy if
Famed actor Michael J. Fox, who first achieved stardom in 1982 as the acquisitive Reagan-era poster-boy Alex P. Keaton on the popular television sitcom Family Ties, was born Michael Andrew Fox on June 9, 1961, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Fox began using the middle initial "J" professionally because he wanted to distinguish himself from another actor named Michael Fox, and didn't like the play on words that "Michael A. Fox" lent itself to; his stage name is also reportedly a tribute to American actor Michael J. Pollard.
The Vulpes Vulpes (the red fox) adapt well to suburban and rural communities. Large predators have been pushed away from areas with humans however, red foxes “took advantage of the changed habitat”. “They live in parks and woodland edges and red foxes will readily eat whatever is available. Red foxes are solitary, so it is easy for them to hide and escape people” (National wildlife federation https://www.nwf.org/Wildlife/Wildlife-Library/Mammals/Red-Fox.aspx). Red foxes can be found throughout the United States from Alaska to Florida. The smallest population is in the Southwest, where it is not common to see a red fox. In New York state, a lot of red foxes can be found in places like upstate, long island and new Jersey in forests and therefore
Great post Skyler! You make a great point that things in life are bound to go differently than we plan. Aging is especially unpredictable and life can go from good to bad in seconds. “The arrival of John Coffey in fall of 1932 was a hot, normal day in the E Block cells”(King 5). The guards saw this man as not much of a talker, but he often cried himself to sleep. He was sentenced there for the rape and murder of two little girls; a crime he did not commit. John Coffey was a large black man in both height and mass, but there was an oddity sensed about this man. “Paul Edgecomb had been acquainted with many inmates over his years, but this is the first one he offered his hand to” (King 19). “Even now I don’t know why,” he stated (King 19). Coffey, a simple man, who talked very little, touched the guards hearts very quickly in his stay. From the start, it seemed Coffey knew he was going to be killed for the crime he did not commit. “[He was] doomed and [maybe] even perhaps eager to die and put all of the pain and misery behind him”(D 'Ammassa). He had a hand for healing, even though this man knew that life was
The snow fell to the ground in an instance, the window slowly filling up with whiteness as if it was a battery level increasing. The truck, like a villain in a movie, caused an uproar as it moved closer. Akamai and I simultaneously closed the curtains and turned our heads away from the small window. It was funny how we did the same things together.
At 1:30 in the morning on 30 March I was awakened by sharp, unfriendly knocks at my door, the unmistakable signature of the police. ‘The time has come,’ I said to myself as I opened the door to find half-a-dozen armed security policemen. They turned the house upside down, taking virtually every piece of paper they could find. I was then arrested without a warrant, and given no opportunity to call my lawyer. They refused to inform my wife as to where I was being taken. I simply nodded at Winnie; it was no time for words of comfort.(pg.239)
