Throughout the weeks our team has recognized the effects and methods to managing the system development within our bookstore. It’s true that the bookstore has endured growing pains of ways to better secure their information as well as the sensitive information of their customers. Our team has analyzed better ways to conduct our business as well as the processing methods that will be improved to meet our needs. By examining our business process we had to identify the functions that were causing problems or raising cost, rising risks or basically wasting time.

Mock Hospital simulation was the focus of the Clinical Nurse Educator Teaching project. The duration of the project span over a four-week period to meet the 22.5 hours required for the project. The simulation dates were determined in advanced for the Nursing Leadership and Management in Professional Nursing course. The preceptor and student determined dates for participating in the simulation and other deliverable activities to meet the requirements for the project. The activities to meet the project requirements were to participate in meetings to plan for the Mock Hospital simulation, to write learning objectives for the simulation, to develop an evaluation tool and debriefing questions, to participate in the Mock Hospital, and to lead debrief sessions after completion of the simulation.

Notably, Allstar products did well with the marketing and advertising decisions we made throughout the simulation. I think that the most memorable exhibit that caught my eye was the one that simulated a hospital labor and delivery room. We were four in our group and we were given a scenario of a patient who was having an anaphylactic reaction from bee sting venom. The group agreed that I will be the primary nurse. As the primary nurse, I knew that I had to lead and supervised our group in responding to the emergency situation at hand. Having played the role of a primary nurse in this simulation, I have gained meaningful experience, which I can use in my future nursing practice.

Our engaging simulation allows students to both compete and cooperate with each other in a multiplayer game that is partially physical. Students experiment with different government set-ups and solutions to social and physical issues without real life consequences. Students are incentivised by their own small businesses and own their creations in the game. Shared objectives (Pandemic style) to keep the virtual people healthy and happy are hard to achieve but require teamwork to meet common objectives. Students have an emotional investment in the outcome of their cities and companies, similar to role playing, but the role you are playing is as yourself. Although not on-par with commercial graphics and action we exceed in social engagement, strategy, complexity, and time on task (school time) unlike many games on the market today.

After finishing the chapter 9 simulations the key concept I learned was the target market, and how to price the products. Company should identify the which group of customer that they want to target for the particular product and how much customer are will to pay for that product. In the simulations they give one example about the bags. Company raised the price on the bags because of the high quality of product and it provides additional benefits for the customer. The Live Simulation activity was not too far from my expectations. I assumed that the person my group and I would be dealing with, was not only going to be upset about the situation at hand but also, that they were going to be harsh in communicating their needs. Therefore, going into this meeting with Mr. Murphy, I was prepared to handle even the worst case scenarios. Almost immediately into the conversation, Mr. Murphy was bothered and showed signs of aggressiveness. The playground and store stimulation are beneficial in helping individuals understand or give them an idea of the struggles that individuals with autism constantly face.
