Barack Obama and George Washington both had great speeches. George Washington was the first to take the oath. After that there were a lot more. Barack Obama was the 44th president of the United States. They both were really good presidents. Their speeches were amazing as well.
There are some similarites in both Obama and Washington’s speeches. One way their speeches were similar was because of the audience. Both these presidents had a big crowd. In the speeches, they both talked about the problems in the United States. In the speech Obama said, “Our nation’s economy is badly weakened, as a result of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also the failure of all of us to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age.”
King George III and John Adams subdued those under their regime. King George III was the notorious sovereign ruler of Britain who sparked an insurrection in the thirteen colonies by thwarting the colonists from governing their own people. One of the numerous atrocities committed by King George III was the obligation of deployment. King George pitted competent men from the thirteen colonies against their own people by forcing them to enlist in the military and restrain their people. Likewise, John Adams oppressed women when in presidency. His wife, Abigail Adams, wrote him countless letters pleading with him on the unwarranted treatment of women. In these letters, one of the motives for opposing women in the United States was the ideology that

They are widely considered as honored men who set a pace in history for what America is today. Although both are founding fathers of America, they were quite different in their life and in politics.
Between the years of 1789 – 1800, there were two people given the job of being the President of these United States of America, George Washington, the first president, and John Adams, the second president. Between the years of 1789 – 1800, the United States of America was a very young country who was searching for its identity, a leader, and an economic basis on which to run the country. Before, 1789, when George Washington took office, the Constitution of the United States was a very new document. It had just been ratified 1 year earlier, which meant that the Articles of Confederation, which ruled the country between the years 1783 – 1788, was thrown
In these speeches that both great minds gave there is some things that are alike then there's some differences . Some likes and differences are obvious and others are really hard to figure out. For some who have trouble paying attention, listening to the speeches it’s harder for them and for those who can listen to it over and over again and still understand it , it's easy for them. Then there's those who try to pay attention because they are important to the history of Americans, but just can't pay attention so they are a little of both problems.
Two great men, two great presidents, led our nations to excellency and great success. Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson were hard working, intelligent men who were very familiar, but were also different in many aspects. Through their dedication to our country and their passion of politics they have made our country better.
In conclusion, these two important presidents had many similarities and differences. Their early life, their accomplishments, struggles, and up to their deaths; George Washington and Abraham Lincoln will forever be remembered for their courage and determination. Out of all the presidents we have
These speeches helped both changes come about helped both changes happened whether it be, African Americans getting their equal or America overcoming the threat of Russia. Due to these similarities and differences between John F. Kennedy’s “Inaugural Address” and Martin Luther Kings Junior’s “I Have a Dream” speech, helped cement them as two as the greatest speeches America has ever heard.
The speaker of the first speech is John F. Kennedy, 35th president of the United States. President Kennedy was instrumental in improving relations with the USSR and improving civil rights in the US. He is seen as one of the greatest presidents America has ever had.
There have been over 40 presidents in the history of the United States. There have been 43 presidents to be exact. Of these 43 Presidents of the United States, there are only about 15 of whom the average American might know. However, the most famous of these Presidents are George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. These two amazing leaders of our country have shown the world what it really means to be a good example to those who follow them. They are men of honor and made this great nation a beautiful and free place to live. Their love for their country and the steps that they took to becoming amazing and passionate leaders are ideas that we, as citizens of the United States, should be aware of. The childhood, the steps they took to careers
In a few days Donald Trump will become our president of the United States. Between Obama and Trump they are so much different Obama is a whole different person from Trump. I realized so much in these two from their speeches they did, from the way they talk, body language, and how they act around the press. I realized and i always knew that Trump would never make a good president just from speech. I have always liked Obama he did amazing things for us, he changed so many things in the US i am glad he was our president.
Obama opens his speech with a slogan (refer to footnote 1) and he introduces the audience to the subject by referring to the Emancipation Proclamation with the sentence: “Two hundred and twenty one years ago, in a hall that still stands across the street […]”6, which another famous orator, Martin Luther King, also used for the opening of his legendary speech “I Have a Dream”. Martin Luther King started: “Five score years ago, a great American […]”7, but that’s not the only comparing between the two speeches.
The speeches of Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy are both meant to deliver a powerful message. Despite how similar these messages are, there are contrasting ideas that set the speeches apart. The speeches of Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy share similarities in their statements on freedom and the main purposes of the speeches themselves, while differing in historical context.
Obama also uses the strategy of allusions. At the very end of Obama's speech, he alludes to a quotation from the father of our nation, George Washington. The quotation talks about how “that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive... that the city and the country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet [it]” (Barack Obama's Inaugural Address 4). The quotation means that no matter how tough times are, the
The men who were once the President of the United States of America became elected when they were in their forties, fifties, or sixties. George Washington was fifty-seven years old when he became the first president of the United States. Washington was the only president who got all the state representatives to vote for him. He served two terms in office from 1789 to 1797 and was part of the Federalist party. Fast forwarding to 1933 Franklin D. Roosevelt became the 32nd president of America and was part of the democrat party. Roosevelt was fifty-one years old when he was elected president. He served four terms in office from 1933 to 1945. Based from the ratings by historians George Washington and Franklin D. Roosevelt were the great presidents. George Washington and Franklin D. Roosevelt were considered the greatest because Washington effectively formed the United States and lead the United States military to victory and Roosevelt created the New Deal during the Great Depression and gave people hope.
Both of these presidents, former and current, have opinions on what America should be moving towards, to better the country. These presidents have both done their fair share for this country already, though Trump has only been in office for a year, while Obama has been in office for a full term, then was re elected for another. They both, though, like all things, have many similarities and differences, these things are likely affected by their party, and mindset, along with their personality. For instance, Obama is apart of the Democratic party, while Trump is apart of the Republican party, making their outlook on America and things like taxes and abortion, different. Differences
