In the United Nations article 18 states “Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.” (UDHR, art. 18) Although many people around the world get punished for practicing religion. The two religions bear some superficial similarities, the differences between the two religions is clear though. How the two religions practice their beliefs, the population, beliefs, and how they view “Jesus” are different and similar. Although the two religions are very different from each other, they also show some similarities. The main similarity is that Islam and Christianity both are monotheistic; meaning they believe in one god. Which are 2 out of the 3 major religions to be monotheistic. They believe that God is the creator of the universe. Likewise, both religions believe in the immaculate conception, when mary was blessed with a son as a virgin. They both believe that Jesus was sinless and pure and formed miracles, (Godlas, sec. 1).
Another big similarity is that afterlife. They both view the after life as a Heaven/paradise or hell, and they view afterlife as very important. The religions also believe that Jesus will return in the end of the days. They both believe that he will return and will take all the believers up to Heaven. The
