In the Face of Danger
On Saturday August 11, 2001 leaves were starting to fall there was a feeling of Fall coming in the air. In one of the fire stations in New York, a group of fire fighters were eating lunch during their lunch break. Then suddenly Bob, the chief fire fighter, rushed into the room and exclaimed,
"One of the Twin Towers was hit by a plane!".
There was a dead silence, then everyone jumped up and ran to the door. Ted a skilled fire fighter called,
"Aqua come!".
The loyal dog, Aqua, came puzzled but brave. Then the two, human and dog, rushed to the door into bright sunlight. Their food laid forgotten. When they had all crammed into the fire truck Ted yelled to Aqua,
"Come on!".
Then Aqua bravely hurled himself inside the firetruck. Then they started up the road lights flashing, and sirens blaring. Then Ted started panicking not out of nerves but because he remembered his wife Linda was working in one of the Twin Towers today.

Ted started running for the stairs. On the third floor as he looked out the window at the other Twin Tower he saw the beams holding the building start to give away from the weight of the floors. As he reached the second floor he heard a rumbling from above and knew the top was starting to collapse. When he got to the first floor the rumbling was getting louder and louder and then he knew the World Trade Center Linda was in was falling to the ground.
As he got outside Aqua was waiting terrified, Ted got Aqua to ran bravely with him. When they got to where the other tower had be standing it was just a heap of ruble on the ground. It felt ghostly running to the twisted pile that had once been the one of Twin Towers. It looked sad and lonely on the ground. As they entered the ruble they had to watch out for sharp bits of metal. Ted yelled to Aqua,
"Try to find Linda
Meanwhile, the fire department was dispatched, and Grace´s truck was the first on scene. The chief started delegating jobs, and Grace was told to get ready to head in. She grabbed her Self

All of the firefighters and Chief Hosterman got into their trucks while in a state of terror.
Livia was telling Tranio that her dad was chasing the goat through the town. They were laughing about this and suddenly hot lava shot up they thought should try to get as far away as they could. They ran together toward the docks. They were scared as they ran for the docks. When they got there they hide in the crates. They had to get on a boat and get out of where they were hiding. There were not enough boats for all the people. Somehow Tranio and Livia got on the boat, . They floated for about a day. They had to eat bananas. They docked on an island and it was in the middle of the ocean. They tried to make it back home, but it did not work. And they all died soon because the lava was so hot that all

Police officers and rescue workers on the disaster scene in New York are covered in Ash that was two to three inches deep in places. People wandered dazed and terrified, Several firefighters coated with dust sat on the ground gasping for breath. One top fire official was asked if both towers had completely collapsed: "You
Michael Wright was in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 at 8:48 in the morning. He is an account executive. Wright was a thirty-year-old man who witnessed the crash at the tower. It was Tuesday morning when Wright and his coworkers felt an “earthquake” when they were inside the men’s room. He then opened the door and was surprised by the fire gushing into the building. From there he tried to evacuate and get to a safe place if possible. Wright’s information was reported in Esquire News “My Escape From the 81st Floor of the World Trade Center”. The following is a narrative of what Wright ‘s day on September 11, 2001 could have been. He was in a good mood when this tragic event happened.
"The dog fell off a cliff and landed in the lake, but he's okay." I swear the dog gave me a dirty look. From my place in the back seat I could see Dad looking at me in the rearview mirror; his eyes told me he knew there was more, but he never asked.
Then, they bring in the heavy machinery to clean up the aftermath. After, the relatives of "lost" people in towers put up wanted signs, still holding on to hope that their loved ones will be found, but none are, except for the few trapped in Stairwell B. Finally, when all hope is lost, people start start to hold funerals for the deceased. This sections shows how September 11th, 2001 had lasting effects on the people of New York.
Two airplanes crashed into the two twin towers in New York City, one slammed into the west side of the Pentagon military headquarters, and the last one crashed into a rural field in Pennsylvania. It was believed that the fourth plane’s intended target was the White House or the Capitol. At 8:45 a.m. the first plane hit the North Tower, instantly killing hundreds and trapping hundreds and trapping hundreds on higher floors. At 9:03 a.m. a second plane struck the South Tower. Minutes later, the buildings collapsed, one after another, leaving heat and debris to billow throughout the city. The temperature could be felt miles away and the suffocating debris was impossible to withstand. People were covered from head to toe with ashes and dying from its effects to the body. It was our darkest hour and we could only turn towards each other for a helping hand and shoulder to cry on. The steady, serene debris continued to fall and darkness filled the sky. Time seemed to slow down, and we felt hopeless, for there was nothing we could do to bring back the thousands of lives taken
Alma woke up that morning to the sight of gently falling snow outside her bedroom window. Delighted, she saw a blanket of white draped over the neighborhood below, creating a charming winter wonderland scene.
I hand him the anchor and he tosses it into the lake causing a splash of water to explode up and splash the side of the boat. With the boat off the music on, it was peaceful sitting back with Mark and Karen enjoying each other’s company while the kids were up on shore. Engaged in conversations and laughter time seemed to have gotten away from us, looking around I can now see more and more boats as they show up. The darkness from the night sky had now consumed the lake, the soft glow of lights from the boats settling in around us was our only lighting.
I stood in the middle of the entrance, trying to filter his language. What's a Michael Cock?
With that thought he left Buford and zipped down the road on his bike all the way down to his friends Fred's house. When he got there he knocked on the front door. Fred's mom answered the door. “Hi Greg, Fred is upstairs in his room”.“Thanks” Greg answered back.
"Tell God to blow the wind from the west. It's bad. It's black. It's arid. We are young men. We're not ready to die. Oh no, God OH!” Were the last words of Kevin Cosgrove as the world trade center tower 1 collapsed. He was a guest visiting the world trade center at the 11th of September 2001 when two commercial airliners were hijacked and aimed to hit the world trade center’s buildings 1 and 2 to break them down to the ground. At the same day, another plane was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon, the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense. Even a fourth plane was captured, but an attempt by the passengers and crew to regain control worked. This killed all 44 people aboard, including the four hijackers, but saved a lot of lives as no one on the ground was injured. The hijackers in the September 11 attacks were 19 men affiliated with the terrorist
The day started good, all calm beautiful clouds on a sunny Tuesday morning until around 8:00 a.m. on the day of September 11, 2001. The United States became a nation transformed into fear. An airliner traveling at high speeds carrying a lot of jet fuel, pounded into the North Tower of The World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan. Around 9:00 a.m. another plane ran into the South Tower. At this point america is on its knees terrorist just attacked one of our very important buildings. After everyone was in shock not knowing what to do or what happened the towers fell in less than 90 minutes. As some time went by another plane was spotted headed to the pentagon, it crash landed into the western side of the pentagon. In all there were four planes that crashed, the last plane was headed straight towards the white house. But luckily one of the passengers stepped in and stopped it from crashing into the white house it crash landed somewhere in Pennsylvania. More than 3,000 people died that day, the death toll was way worse that anything anyone has ever seen. It was just about if not more gory than pearl harbor in 1941.
Max excitedly exclaimed, “well this is exciting.” I think most of us were kind of confused because this is pretty serious. So we got into a position to try to get everybody that fell out and every boat did this. Luckily the boat that
