If Congress were to make a new national holiday, the holiday should celebrate Susan B. Anthony and all the work she has done to express equality in the United States of America. Susan B. Anthony would be a fit the qualities needed to be accepted as a national holiday worthy person. Susan B. Anthony fought for many causes such as; women’s rights, the abolishment of slavery, and equal education. She is also very well known in the country as a famous woman activist. Anthony also risked a lot while fighting for what she knew to be right for herself as well as the greater good.

For many years, women did not have the same rights or privileges as men. Today women have the right to vote and the same power as men. If I could change places with anyone, I would choose to be Susan B. Anthony because she used her intellect and confidence to fight for equality for all people.
