Nicole Renard was a major part of Heroes from the beginning where she is an innocent girl to being a corrupted character. In the book Nicole was very important, so important in fact that without her there wouldn’t be a story. Nicole is friendly and innocent in the beginning of the book. She then got corrupted and turned into a broken distressed girl who had trouble remembering the tragedy.
In the book Million Dollar Throw it is certain that the best friend of main character Nate Brodie is Abby McCall. Abby is the best friend because she has many character traits that make her that. For example, she supports Nate in everything. She attends all of Nate’s football games, and is there whenever he needs someone to talk to. On page 53, it says “... more perfect was if his dad had been able to be here. But at least his mom was here and had picked up Abby on the way.” Abby comes to all of his games despite her worsening eyesight and eventual blindness. But she still comes, even though she is risking her own self. As you can see, these traits make Abby his best friend.

He immediately evades the question, and states “at the right time and the right place, people are capable of anything”. Mulvihill pulls a gun on Gittes and demands he gives the bifocals. Mulvihill and Cross force Gittes to take them
“Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, is the best kind of historical fiction in which valuable lessons from the past can be learned.” (Commonsensemedia.org) So begins Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, a novel about an African American family growing up in the times of segregation. In this novel Taylor teaches us many lessons but one indeed stands out and that is that prejudice acts can change a man. In the novel Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, Stacey Logan is forced to mature early in life; this shows us that exposure to prejudice and violence can force a boy to lose his innocence, and make him a man.
Certainly a great idea! Here's the revised paragraph with embedded quotes. In J.B. Priestley's "An Inspector Calls," set in 1912 England, Sheila Birling's journey from irresponsibility to responsibility unfolds against the backdrop of a society characterized by rigid class distinctions and moral complacency. The play opens with the Birling family celebrating Sheila's engagement to Gerald Croft, the son of a wealthy businessman, in what initially appears to be a scene of domestic bliss and social prestige.

Prisetly presents the character Sheila Birling to the audience as a 'pretty girl in her twenties, pleased with life and very excited.' The audience would have a positive impression of Sheila from the stage directions due to the fact she is young and attractive. She is presented to the audience as simple-minded girl who listens to her parents and who is spoilt. However, Sheila's looks tends to be deceving as presented by Priestley as naive, child-like, 'rich daddy's girls' who is soon going to be a kept woman be Gerald Croft. Quotes such as, "You'll be careful - otherwise I'll start weeping" and "Mummy isn't a beauty?" shows how spoilt and naive Sheila is. She refers to her parents as "Mummy" and "
Miss Strangeworth’s Strange Character There are moments in every part of a normal human’s everyday life when they know they should not get into other people’s business. In the short story “The Possibility of Evil” by Shirley Jackson, Miss Adela Strangeworth, the main character, is the perfect opposite. Miss Strangeworth decides to put her nose in business that doesn’t involve her, and this allows her to have an interesting character. Miss Strangeworth’s character can be analyzed by considering what she does, what the narrator says about her, and how other characters interact with her.
In the novel Jubilee, the character Vyry is displayed as a virtuous woman. In fact, this one character exemplifies the spirit of the African American woman. According to an excerpt by Margaret Walker, the author of Jubilee it is evident that the character Vyry possesses these admirable virtues. “Peasant and slave, unlettered and untutored, she was nevertheless the best true example of the motherhood of her race, and ever present assurance that nothing could destroy a people whose sons had come from her loins.” (Walker, p. 486) I believe this quote means no matter where you come from, nor your background, that doesn’t decide who you are, or who you become. You choose the person you want to be. Nothing
“I am alive, but I am not living, I remember thinking as I walked. I am the living dead. I am nothing but a shell,” (170). This quote is from Elizabeth Smart’s memoir, My Story. Elizabeth Smart was 14 when she was abducted.
