- One of the issues is the fact that Senator’s are appointed by the Prime Minister. In other words, senators are appointed to the Senate for being loyal to the Prime Minister’s party which is seen as undemocratic and gives the Senate an illegitimate image.
I would advise Shania that an LLC would be the best form of business to accomplish her goals. Shania wants to open a Christian coffeehouse and already has a name in mind. Colorado LLC laws allow LLCs to be formed with one or more members, taxes them at a lower rate like partnerships and sole proprietorships, and provides the members with lower liability that protects them from the company’s debt (Scrofano, n.d.). This form of business will give Shania the ability to name her company what she wants and run it how she wants. The limited liability is also desirable.
Case management services were provided. The youth is still in detention. WYP (Wraparound Youth partner) Andy Ngo discussed with the WPP (Wraparound Parent Partner) Lyneth Torres and WCC (Wraparound Care Coordinator) Omar Gomez about when will WYP Ngo be able to see the youth. WPP Torres consulted with WYP Ngo, the team can go see the youth on December 10th, 2015. Next meeting will be on December 10th 2015.
The interns, [Robert Chandler (Garth), Jose Morales (Tam)] and I created a presentation outlining recommendations with the Shared Services meeting procedure. This included how long the meeting last to possible break opportunities. Through observation, specifically with the Architecture, I noticed excellent facilitation techniques from Gary and the overall respectfulness of the team. Everyone was open to new ideas and passionate about their work and ultimately wanted the best delivery at hand as a team. The SharePoint sites collectively are easy to navigate. I could not provide necessary suggestions that I thought would be significantly helpful for improving the sites, however as I continue to navigate it-I am sure there is something that can
MOVE! is a weight management health promotion outpatient program designed to improve the lives of Veterans. In 2015 more than three quarters of Veterans receiving care in VHA facilities were considered to be overweight or obese (MOVE! Weight Management Program, n.d.). The goal of the Bruce W. Carter Veteran’s Affair Medical Center (VA) is to annually screen every Veteran who receives care at the facility for obesity, refer individuals to weight management services, and make available different treatment options that fit the needs and preferences of our Veterans (In person communication G. Cuadrado-Umbaugh, March 14,2017). Some of the treatment options are telephone lifestyle coaching, a mobile app for reminders and a group session which has show to have the greatest evidence of participant success (MOVE! Weight Management Program, n.d.). Small weight loss can reduce health risks, prevent or reverse chronic diseases, and improve quality-of-life and longevity (MOVE! Weight Management Program, n.d.) . Every sixteen weeks is the beginning
The scale of this scale is regional as it takes place primarily Sonora/Arizona region of the U.S./Mexico border and affects one specific group of people (migrants).
For this case study I am going to discuss 3 health promotions, the 3 health promotions I will be discussing are; obesity, exercise and smoking. All 3 of these health promotions are from a patient whose care I was involved with for a number of weeks. I have gained full consent from the patient and their relatives. In relation to the Data Protection Act 1998 (Legislation.gov.uk, 1988)
Levy (2016) states that “Struggling to make ends meet, Ben Carson’s 2016 Republican presidential campaign woes continued Thursday with the announcement of a “reorganization” that cost dozens of paid staffers their jobs.” This statement shows the impact that finances have on the US presidential campaigns. It follows that the fate of the presidential candidates’ fate relies on organization and by extension, their pockets.
In reading the first article Coach Knight: The Will to Win, I found the article found Coach Knight to be very offensive and mean to his players. Coach Knight did not display good leadership skills. According to the article, Coach Knight’s drive and passion for excellence was not always received as well as his record of wins and losses Snook, Per low, Delacey, 2005).
Bill Gates Believed Microsoft’s core source of competitive advantage was the ability to attract, motivate and retain superior people. In attracting employees Microsoft mainly targeted the stars. Stars are the core employees that can add value to the organization through their knowledge, skills and abilities (Boselie, 2010). At Microsoft there has been a hands on mentality made for ambitious people.
By the end of 1994, profit had risen to 5 billion on revenues of 64 billion.
“However, political parties may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.” —George Washington
One company that appears to have a gap between its mission and its capabilities is Microsoft. The software giant has long had a problem with respect to innovation, and continues to rely on aging franchises for the bulk of its revenue. It was left out of the mobile operating systems boom and has failed to be a leader in either software or consumer electronics as a result (Clarke, 2010).
