DSS received and report of physical abuse and substantial risk of sexual abuse of Allison Cook by her mother, Laura Ramsey and a neighbor, Ernest Sloan. It was reported that minor, Allison Cook, allowed Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, Officer D. Middleton and Emergency Medical Services personnel to view screenshots of text messages in Ms. Cook’s personal cell phone of text messages from Mr. Ernest Sloan citing he saw her change clothes and that he saw her in her underwear and he has also seen her naked. Allison Cook disclosed to Officer D. Middleton that what Mr. Sloan was doing to her has been happening for a year. Allison Cook disclosed that Mr. Sloan regularly spies on her while she changes her clothing. Sloan states she eventually went back to sleep and was awakened by Mr. Sloan again touching her upper leg. Allison states she again asked Mr. Sloan to stop and they again began arguing and this time her mother, Laura Ramsey entered her bedroom and joined in on the arguing. Allison states Mr. Sloan got on top of her while she was laying on her bed and held her down by her arms, and continued to yell at her. Allison states during the physical altercation she bit her mother, Ms. Ramsey, on the hand. After the altercation Allison was able to call the police for help. Allison Cook advised Officer Middleton that this was not the first time these types of incidents have occurred. Allison states Mr. Sloan has tried to grab her butt as she was getting out of his car, at least once a week Mr. Sloan has somehow watched her change clothes or shower, and her mother, Ms. Ramsey and Mr. Sloan would go into her bedroom and remove her window curtain to allow Mr. Sloan to view her changing clothing from outside her bedroom window. Joseph E. Lee was born in Philadelphia in 1849, he graduated from Howard University in 1873. As Vice-Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, I am writing to request that the Rules Committee establish a rule to allow for the admissibility of certain evidence of similar behavior by the defendant in sexual assault and child molestation cases. The adoption of such a rule will effectively end the current disunion between the Federal Rules of Evidence and the Maryland Rules of Evidence.
Jackie has had many negative things happen in her life and these things affected her life. Her family life was very challenging her family is not close at all. When most people hear the phrase sexual abuse we all have a tendency to assume the victim is a female. It is only a myth that males are not sexually assaulted, or that it only happens in while incarcerated. Sexual assaults can happen to anyone no matter their age, sex, orientation, or even identity. In fact, in between 9-10% of all male rape survivors outside of prisons are male and 16% of men have experienced sexual abuse before the age of 18. These reports are only an estimate because most male survivors of sexual abuse will either never report it or they encounter barriers while trying to report it. (Male Survivors of Sexual Assault, 2015) “The U.S. Department of Justice records an average of greater than 12,000 reported sexual assaults of men annually, and predicts that if unreported assaults are included, the actual number of men who are sexually assaulted in the United States each year is approximately 60,000.” (Male Survivors of Sexual Assault, 2015)
The client stated has been depressed for a while due to the sexual abuse she encountered by her stepfather. The client felt very suicidal and attempted it twice. She was hospitalized twice for it. The client started having flashbacks, low self-esteem, socializing issues, migraines, difficulty of sleeping, extreme fatigue and feeling of extreme doom. The psychiatrist diagnosed her with PTSD. 10:30am- IRTC spoke with CPSS, Brenda Walker, who reported that assigned CPSS, Patricia Mitchell, was present at the Manhattan CAC for the joint visit and there were no disclosure of sexual abuse made by the subject child. CPSS Walker expressed that NYPD was in the process of closing their investigation regarding this matter. IRTC reviewed documentation entered in Connections by CPSS, Patricia Mitchell, on 4/22/17 which states, “CPSS I met with the assigned Detective and the children, FM and CP at the CAC. Recognizing these effects and taking action can make it possible to a secure everyday life. Being a survivor, and taking control of your healing process will ensure you live life healthier, and happier. Childhood abuse can lead to long-term of effects as kids develop into adults. Victims deal with overwhelming emotions, personal triggers, and not being able to have personal relationships. Seeking help is essential to maintain a healthy mentality, and figuring out how to overcome these traumatic events. The real question is what kind of behavior can it lead to, and how we can recognize when dealing with it alone

Public schools have the most articles published, with Penn State University having 32 articles published. Topics that were barely mentioned were class year, alcohol and drug use, policy, and demographics. As a part of demographics, race was only mentioned ones or twice.
I just finish watching a movie that brought up so many memories of my past. The memories were not about my sexual abuse as a child but the feelings and actions I took on myself after the abuse. The confusion and the anger that bled with me every step I made, and how I forgot who I was to became someone unrecognizable. Per Reporter: Mia has been dropping Daria off on MSU campus to hang out with her boyfriend (Kristopher); it is unknown of how often. Daria and Kristopher has been dating for a while. Kristopher is also from Moss Point. In August 2017, right after school started, Daria sent an email stating that Kristopher held her against her will. Daria was not allowed to be in Kristopher’s dorm. Campus police were involved, after investigation it was discovered that Daria was not on campus and she was trying to get Kristopher in trouble. On September 4, 2017, Daria and Mia filed a report of sexual assault (case #: 170919). Both Mia and Daria were interviewed while at Oktibbeha County Hospital.
