I am a senior with two years till graduation, but you may ask yourself, “Why does a senior need two more years? How could they be considered a senior in this scenario?” I am glad you asked. I have enough credits from previous colleges to be labeled as a senior but the requirements for my career change have left me with more than a few holes to fill in my degree audit thus making me a perpetual senior. My degree is in biology and chemistry with a minor in math, but I began as a mechanic. I began working on automobiles in my hometown of Minneapolis, receiving a degree from Hennepin tech and landing in New Jersey fixing jets for the military. The life of a mechanic is not a glorious one. It is long, hard, dirty, and painful on the good days, but when you add military regulations into the mix it becomes unbearable.
My experience with Christianity began in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Helena’s in South Minneapolis. I grew up a die-hard; attending every week with my mother and sister. I never understood the concept of God, Jesus and the Holy

The first articles, for example, have already opened my eyes to the movement of Christianity’s popularity. It fractured the cornerstone of my stereotypical idea of what a Christian looks like. A Christian may be anybody and, sadly, I was surprised by this. This led me to wonder how much any religion may differ among its followers when the ethnicity and regions are changed. I had not even cared to contemplate the ideas already presented in class but enjoyed the experience of knowledge being thrust upon me. As with biblical heritage, in which, I have used my knowledge of the bible long after the class finished, I am enthusiastic to the idea of learning something that could be applied to my everyday life. This class may differ, though, as the concepts learned may be applied to other religions, whereas, studying the bible was only good for
While growing up, there are innumerable decisions to be made and paths to take. As I am approaching the ending point of my high school career, I have finally found the correct one for me. I have known from a surprisingly young age that I wish to pursue a job in the medical field, and have taken a number of steps to help achieve this dream. I show tremendous passion for both my educational and career goals, and how to reach them. My future is incredibly important to me because through doing my job, I will also be achieving my biggest goal: saving lives.
The career I chose to undertake as my profession is that of a mechanical engineer. Why do I want to become a mechanical engineer? Well, for starters, I would be able to design, build and possibly repair many various machines and other technologies that are complex. These technologies can range from being already in use on a global scale to new, futuristic designs that are highly technical. Also, this career includes being a sort of jack-of-all-trades, where I would possess knowledge in mathematics, physics, etc. Finally, this career offers me the chance to expand outside my immediate area since mechanical engineers are well desired around the globe as well.
Do you remember a time when you were young, maybe around first grade? The teacher asked everyone what they wanted to be when they grow up. Some children said they wanted to be doctors or firefighters or even an astronaut. I said I wanted to help others learn; I wanted to be a teacher. Going into my journey of senior year, my life has changed; however, my career path has not. I want to help children learn, to become the best they can be. Children, in my opinion, are the greatest assets that are in this world. In the teaching/education class offered by Four Rivers Career Options, I will understand more to be prepared with what will be expected in this career choice. After completing the experience of Four Rivers I will attend college and be ready to teach elementary kids. This will be the start of my career path.
A man once said “The direction in which education starts a man will determine his future in life.” The California state university will send me on my path to my future. California State university, the Northridge society, one of the best technology schools and should allow me to have the best education.
When people look at possible careers they might like to have in the future, most don’t consider a job in the military. There are many jobs that the military offers, and most of them can transfer into the civilian life. Being an instructor in the high school program called Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps is one of them. The responsibility of a Jrotc instructor is to instruct a group of students, or cadets, and to provide lessons in leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and “to motivate young people to be better citizens” (“Army JROTC / JROTC Mission Statement, Cadet Creed and JROTC Core Abilities”). These instructors are heavily involved in molding these individuals to be the next leaders
When I first read To Kill a Mockingbird, I fell in love with Atticus Finch’s character; he was a calm, fair lawyer who fought for the wronged. Lawyers represent individuals, businesses, and organizations in court, as well as read wills and deeds. Criminal prosecutors represent clients who have had a crime committed against them. I chose this career because being a lawyer, especially a criminal prosecutor, requires laying out facts in a clear and concise manner, as well as verbally framing evidence in such a way as to support my client and convict the defendant, and elucidate upon the case itself. It is important to understand and be able to fulfill the education requirements, skills needed, salary and benefits offered, and the duties performed when choosing a career.
Choosing to go back to school? If so it may help you to better understand the resources that you have at your disposal before you start your college career, or even resuming your college career. There are many resources that are available to you through your school and your community. You just have to know where to look, this paper will cover some of the many resources that your school and financial can offer. I hope it is of some help.
Upon reading the chapters written by both Kessler and Martin this week I believe that this will be an interesting course for the seven remaining weeks. Even though I identify myself as a follower of the Christian faith, I think it will be nice to have a fresh outlook on religion from the outsider's point of view. From my time as a first grader through my time as an eighth grader, I spent at least an hour or two each week learning about the Catholic faith in a religion class. Also, I would like to see how this course will possibly change my outlook or open my eyes to different aspects of religion. In addition, I expect to have discussions about several religions from the various regions of the world. I hope that these discussions will help me broaden my understanding and appreciation of other religion and cultural backgrounds
Nursing is an important scientific career as it benefits society, by utilising their knowledge in medicine. Nursing is seen as an important profession for it makes the health field function properly through assisting other medical staff such as doctors. I never thought anything like this would happen. How could it happen? Why did it have to be my best friend. I just didn’t understand or get why it was happening because there had never been any signs of it. Why cancer?
I will start my career expedition by finishing grade school and entering high school. In high school I will try my hardest to get the best grades I can get. If I have a high GPA in highschool I will be able to have more opportunities with collage. Most colleges judge applicants by their GPA average and have a baseline of 2.0 GPA or all Cs or better. With that in mind, if you're trying to get into a private or more advances school, such as me, they commonly judge you on a GPA baseline of 3.75 or higher and also look at if you graduated at a higher percent of your school for that year. These are all of the most important things big collages that have a very low acceptance rate, look at when accepting new students.
I have been working on my academic career for many years now. I am currently in my third year of community college, and have come across multiple teachers who have helped and inspired me in many ways. A teacher not only teaches the content of their course, but life skills as well. They are kind, caring, considerate, and understanding of their students. A teacher who goes above and beyond for their students is one that will make a difference. One teacher who I believe has made all the difference to me, was my accounting professor.
For my research paper , I hope to accomplish many goals. I believe itś very important that I start looking at the future so I know what job i may way want to do in the future. I hope to see the amazing opportunities I can have by looking ahead at jobs and see what job best fit me. Last but not least I want to accomplish a project and receive a good grade and my best ability.
Throughout my life, I always wondered what my profession would be when I grew up. My first choice was to be a nurse because I love to help people and make sure that they are well taken care of. When I reached high school, my thoughts about nursing tapered off because other careers interested me even more, such as becoming a lawyer. As I began researching more and more about lawyers, I talked to my work based learning teacher at school, and she recommended a part time job at a law firm. I began calling around, and entering my senior year of high school, I received my first job at a law firm. The first days of working at the law firm, I was extremely excited because I thought that I would be one step closer to reaching my goals as an attorney. I had the privilege of seeing what the attorneys did throughout the day, however as my experience in the firm progressed, my interest in becoming an attorney dwindled. I then realized I was back to square one and was extremely discouraged, because I did not know what I wanted to do with my life.
I want to be a nurse practitioner when I grow up. A nurse practitioner ,or commonly known as NP, can treat and diagnose illnesses and can also conduct lab tests.(“Welcome to Top Master’s In Healthcare Administration”)
