I for myself did not find it necessary to actually name the argumentation strategy ‘authority’ by its name in the speech. I used the law as effectively as possible, which is what needs to be done to use the strategy. The exact mentioning of the word ‘authority’ itself in my speech did not seem appropriate for me. It would make it too theoretical – the court will feel the authority from the used law provision my itself.
