You might know him as one of his many monikers such as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, or just Diddy but his real name is Sean Combs and he has been around and back in the music industry. Combs is an actor, entrepreneur, rapper, record producer, and a singer-songwriter. He has been a part of rap super groups, involved in coastal rivalries, gotten in trouble with the law, and received some honors and awards along the way. The hip hop industry would not be the same without this man and his many different involvements in it.

Tupac Shakur (also known as Lesane Parish Crooks) was born June 16, 1971 in New York city. (Steffens 1328) Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, was a member of the Black Panther Activist. She was acquitted of bombing charges and released from jail a month before her son was born. (Gale ⅓) Shakur didn’t know his father, he wasn’t in his life at all. Shakur also has a sister Sekyiwa Shakur. In 1984 Shakur and his family moved to Baltimore where Shakur attended the Baltimore School of the Arts as a teenager. While Shakur was in Baltimore he developed skills in writing and acting. Before Shakur even graduated he and his family moved to Marin County, California. When the family moved to California Tupac got involved with drugs and getting into other trouble.
DJ Premier’s music career has been amazing and he will go down as a legend for it. He has worked with some of the biggest names in Hip/Hop history including The Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg, and Jay-Z.
