Entering junior year, roughly half of students know which career they’ll pursue, while another half wander aimlessly. I was among the latter--lost--trying to choose from many intriguing options.
I joined the Science Olympiad club at the beginning of the year for no reason in particular. Perhaps it was the distinguished name.
From a young age, building things interested me, so I chose a task in which I constructed a wooden bridge with a partner. The bridge was to be judged on its weight, correlated with the amount of weight it could sustain.
