Say Yes Dog Parks

I think dog parks are a good idea. Dogs need alot of exercise and play time. Many cites and urban areas just dont have the room for that to happen. But there are optoins there many open unused lots, and empty building that could be torn down to create these places. I am a dog owner myself i live in the country were open space is abundant. My dog Neno can run a play all he wants it's good for his health and mental state. When he doesn't get out he gets cranky and chews thing around the house. To many complications will come from a dog park. Such as situations like a dog attacking another dog or even attacking someone else. This can cause a lot of upset owners. Also many painful court cases. Dog parks will bring up a lot of legal issues that we don't need.

Dog parks are places usually in a protective environment where pet owners can take their dogs for exercise and to socialize with other dogs. We as a comunity have to deside if we can use a dog park. I live in Kalispell Montana and in my case we dont have a dog park. I believe that Kalispell does not need a dog park because of the population. In my exsperince we never needed a dog park we have many parks that you can take your dog to so he/she can run around. I fully support the idea of building a dog park. As many cities have leash laws which keep the dogs from getting the excersize and socialization they need. For dogs if they don't have a place to run around and play fetch they sit in the house all day. They eat, lay down, eat some more and lay down more. They start to get lazy and fat.Messing up their mental and physical health. Having a dog park would help these dogs get out more and be able too run around and get as much exercize as they needed.
