Same sex marriage ought to be legalized on the grounds that it is uncivilized and unmerited. Marriage is a commitment between two people that cherish one another. In almost every country and culture, marriage is a commitment of loyalty and love. Marriage is an authority contract gathering two individuals together, furnishing them with profits of holy matrimony such as tax cuts and clinical privileges. The debate throughout most countries today is whether or not the rights of these profits and commitments should be legal to people of the same sex. My question is, Why not? Legalizing the same sex marriage is the right choice for most countries to make simply because it is socially, ethically, politically and economically the decision that will improve each country. A normal wedding may cost around $20,000. There are musical artist, Dj’s, wedding organizers, flower specialist and so on that is provided to help put a wedding in place. Imagine this being reproduced by maybe 500,000 of the same sex couples throughout the world. The wedding business may rise up to a few billion or so. This will also help people gain jobs in the wedding department and help assuage budgetary load. A great deal of this cash would be channeled towards the average workers throughout each country. Permitting same sex relational unions will give the average workers around the world a wellspring of salary and help each economy bounce back. In addition, same sex marriage is being acknowledged and
In the past few years all 50 states have legalized same sex marriage. The problem is same sex marriage is still not widely accepted in this American society. When people are getting arrested because they refuse to do their job and give out gay marriage licences that means there is a problem with the way that same sex couples are being treated. Gay marriage is a major hot button issue in America right now. To allow marriage or to not allow marriage has evoked a large argument that has caused many riots and problems. Gay marriage is the right for two people of the same gender to marry. But what most people do not think about is the benefits of marriage to this community of people. Society should work harder on accepting same sex marriage because it is not just about being happy (but that is a benefit), but it is a matter of decisions over life or death, money, and the life of children.
The first reason it should be legal is that it will make LGBT families more stable. Children raised by same-sex parents had fewer social problems than heterosexual raised children. This proves that same-sex parents are just as capable as heterosexual parents. Same-sex families are usually made by either adoption or surrogacy. It ends up costing tons of money, but to them it is worth it. For them to take a child who has no one to care for them is amazing.
Gay marriage is an issue that has been widely debated in the recent years. It has been considered outlawed for centuries, but is rapidly gaining acceptance among the people. While many believe to have no problem to allowing marriage of homosexual couples, there is still a fraction that is strongly opposed to it. Some nations in the world have shut their doors to the idea of same sex relationships, let aside allowing them the right to marry. Some countries have legalized gay marriage federally, however certain states have not accepted that law. As of June 26, 2015, 19 out of 194 countries allow same-sex couples to marry nationwide (Farmer and Horowitz, 2015). Should gay marriage be legalized worldwide? Many would say yes, but others may disagree.
Many people in the United States have been refused the right to marry for many years, especially homosexuals. Gay marriage is important because, everyone has the right to pursuit of happiness; according to the Decleration of Independence. Homosexuals have been shunned for their lifestyle choices because of others religious beliefs and morals. After several years of riots and debates, Gay marriage was finally legalized on June 26, 2015. Same-Sex marriage should remain legal because, it offers many advantages to same-sex marriage such as legal benefits, stability for children, and the right to equality.
Everyone knows what marriage is. One either saw one, participated in one or had one. The constitution of marriage is something that has existed for as long as men can remember. Marriage is a celebration, something, both men and women, look forward to since they are children. The general idea about marriage is that it includes a man and a woman, but what about same-sex marriage? Everything changes as time goes by: cars, phones, televisions, etc., therefore the idea of marriage must change as well. Same-sex marriage needs to be legalized all over the world. Same-sex marriage legalization can only do good in our society. This will promote a non-discriminative and equal society, protect families and their children and strengthen International reputation. Unfortunately, many will not agree and state that same-sex marriage weakens the institution of marriage, that it can emotionally damage children and can have negative consequences on religious liberties.
Why shouldn’t Same Sex Marriage legalized? Number one why would you want more gay couples walking around and getting married? It flat out is just not right at all. No matter if same sex marriage is legal or illegal it will never be okay on any circumstance. Marriage has always been between A Man and Woman not two guys and two girls. Marriage should stay the same, it should not be legalized, they’re just too many wrongs to it and it is not acceptable.
In today’s society, it is hard to define what is known as a “traditional marriage”. Considering the popularity of marriages that are arranged on the basis of polygamy, communal child rearing, and even the use of mistresses, homosexual marriage should not be considered “unnatural”. For many people, it is hard to understand how any individual can love someone of their same gender. Nonetheless despite the percentage of the population that is muddled by the act, same sex marriage should be legalized because denying them that right sends the message that it is acceptable to treat gays as inferior and unworthy. Not only that, same sex marriage encourages strong family values and financial gain to state and federal governments.
Before the ruling on June 26, 2015 for gay marriage to be legal in all fifty states, thirty seven out of the fifty and Washington D.C already legalized gay marriage. Many support gay marriage and many do not, with widespread values and reasons for and against it. Due to religion and rights people across the nation have differing views and opinions of it.In a five to four vote in the Supreme Court gay marriage became legalized in all fifty states. Shortly after that a few marriage officiators and marriage licenses people began refusing services and documents for gay marriage. Some states also started placing bans on gay marriage. Everyone is allowed their own bias on the issue, but take a moment and think about all the reasons the other side has.The legalizing of gay marriage should be accepted and acknowledged in all fifty states.
Gay marriage should be legalized because it is unmerited and undemocratic. Our civil rights and the Constitution give us many liberties such as the pursuit of happiness. This pursuit is hard for homosexual people to chase. They usually cannot be married to the person they love and it violates their freedoms. The 1st amendment of the Constitution states that a person’s religious beliefs or lack of must be protected. In a marriage the one thing that truly matters is love. If gay people feel this way then why shouldn’t they be able to be married? If they are happy with each other there should be no say about it. No one can tell us who we must fall in love with, particularly our government. Feeding into the idea that a man can only love a
In today’s world the idea of same-sex marriage for same-sex couples has been largely denied by many states. A same-sex couple is when two individuals of the same sex either man or woman are involved in a relationship. However they are unable to make it official since marriage is one of many rights and opportunities denied to them in society. This topic is controversial because homosexuals are seen almost everywhere with prejudice eyes and discrimination in toll because they are physically/emotionally involved with someone of the same gender. Same-sex couples should be granted the same rights and opportunities as heterosexual couples in society. A common argument is
In the contemporary society, there are many arguable interpretations of rights that people should be aware and debate. Any arguable issues always have two or more different sides, so people have to think, and sometimes we have to put ourselves in “someone else’s shoes”. There are several arguable issues such as human rights in developing or third world countries, racism or animal rights. However, same-sex marriage can be considered as one of the most arguable issues nowadays. It has been debated all over the world for several years because it relate to cultural components such as cognitive, material or human rights (lang8). Same-sex marriage can be known as a marriage between two people of the same sex. It can be performed in normal marriage ceremony if it happens in the countries that legalized same-sex marriage. Besides, there were a few cultures that accepted same-sex marriage in the past but it was rare in other cultures. For instance, in 2001, Netherland was known as the first country that allowed the marriages between two people of the same sex (lang8). Even though many gay or lesbian couples have expressed widely their sexuality than before, there are several people are against same-sex marriage all over the world. Therefore, same-sex marriage is really important because this issue relates to people civil rights, religion and people’s freedom. In addition, every person has their human rights and freedom so they want to do whatever they want, if it is not illegal. This
Same sex marriage became legal on June 26th, 2015. So, why is there still discrimination? It’s legal, right? The discrimination against homosexual athletes in American sports is out of control and needs to be changed immediately. How would people feel being looked down upon being one of the only openly gay athletes in the United States? Before 2014 there was not any openly gay athletes currently playing professional sports in the United States. This shows the fear humans have when it comes to being honest about their sexuality because they know what the general public thinks about it. Discrimination is inhumane, especially when it comes to peoples beliefs. Sixty-five percent of females in the WNBA are homosexual, but are not discriminated against compared to the way male athletes are. Many gay athletes do not come out about their sexuality until after retirement because they fear what others will think.
Over the last couple of years things have changed around the world, the things that I am talking about would be the people and how they make themselves appear. We were all born different, we don’t think the same, we don’t ack the same, and we all do different things. One of those things is who we fall in love with, or whom we think is attractive. Some people when they are born may be a male and is attracted to females, also a male can be attracted to males; a female can be attracted to females. They are allowed to be attracted to the same sex or the different sex. In the United States they passed a law were gay marriage is now allowed in all 50 states, which many people have an issue with, but what is it around the world. What do all of
Same-sex marriages have the same goal as all marriages. The goal is to create a bond of kinship. The bond creates moral, social, and legal obligations for anyone who gets married (Cline). Gay marriage should be legal because it is beneficial to everyone; adoption rates rise, effects on mental and physical health issues and health insurance coverage, and government effects on itself and gay marriage. Marriage is a fundamental right for all who wants to marry and no person should have that right taken from them based on their sexuallity.
Is it correct to deny a right? Do citizens have the right to do what they desire, under the constitution? Same sex marriage was an issue that was debated for centuries; however, what is this really? Same-sex marriage permits couples of the same gender to enter legally-recognized marriages and provides them with the same legal rights as couples in heterosexual marriages. According to Dissent Magazine, seventy five percent of Americans will admit that homosexuals deserve the equal rights that the heterosexual couples receive under the constitution. The recognition of same-sex marriage is a political and social issue, and also a religious issue in many countries. Prior to 2015 in the US, same sex marriage was a topic that was a debated issue throughout the years, it should be allowed because the decision should solely be focused on the ideas of economic benefits given to a same sex marriage and not religion or opinions
