My Center’s “Must Win” Zip code is 30045. It covers a large portion of the city of Lawrenceville. The median income is about $72,000 per year. The population, according to the last census is just 0ver 31,000. The culture is diverse. The area is 74.1% American born in the Sates and 25.9% from other foreign countries such as Haiti, Nigeria, Mexico, Columbia. The unemployment rate is high, around 8.7 percent. The top employers in the area are local businesses and corporation. Some offer good worker’s compensation package, but layoffs can be common when the economy slumps. The most contracts written in the zip code is by the Navy about 36%. The High Schools in this zip code are cooperative with recruiters, but not overly supportive. This is a space where much improvement can be made.

The college admissions process is one of the most important decisions homeschooling students and families make. However, Marygrove College is meeting the needs of homeschoolers by offering them an opportunity to become a dual enrolled high school student.

After 180 years of service, one could assume Cheyney University has seen it all. Formerly known as the Institute for Colored Youth, they were founded in 1837. At that time it was illegal for slaves to be educated, some would even deem it as tip toeing on a dangerous line under those circumstances. To be found during that time period is a true testament to the school’s ability to defy odds. Once again they find themselves walking a fine line, as they are now struggling to keep their accreditation.

Staff are the stakeholders because they work at the school and they give education to students. The staff wants a decent pay from the school for the amount of hours they work. They could conflict with Trinity because they might not have equal rights to some of the other staff. Staff can influence them by forming a strike to make sure they get equal rights. Trinity would have to change it by, changing the staff policy so that all the staffs have equal rights in the work environment.

In 2005 in a small town in Saskatchewan the local public school was shut down, and a new Catholic school was put in it’s place. With no other options for schooling parents were forced to send their children to the Catholic schools, even if they were not religious, all on the governments dime. The issue was brought to court, and eventually the SCC itself where the judges there declared it violated the Charter of Rights and freedoms to pay for non-Catholic children to go to catholic schools, as it violated the state’s right to religious neutrality (Morgan, 2017).

It is the ethical duty of a university to recruit student athletes not only to succeed in sports but to also provide a college education that will make them successful after graduation. Creighton University failed in fulfilling this duty by recruiting and admitting a student athlete that scored in the bottom fifth percentile of college – bound seniors who took the ACT. Kevin Ross filed suit against Creighton University for negligence and breach of contract for their failure to properly educate him. After reading Ross’ case, I question what is the definition of a student – athlete in the NCAA. Ross was admitted to Creighton in spite of being far below the level of an average Creighton student. Finally, the investment of this project will have great social impacts on students in Ryerson. The Architecture building typically closes at 7:30 PM. To save electricity, Ryerson turns off the lights. This stages as a problem for commuter students who stay at school in the night to take advantage of its facilities. By introducing free and renewable solar energy to the ARC, students will have more time to study at school. As result, their academic performance will improve. Also, the money saved yearly from solar panels can be put towards increasing Ryerson’s facilities. For example, the lighting around Quad at night, and the number of vending machines in Kerr Hall can be improved. About 130 students make Kerr Hall their home during exams. There
