South Texas College has locations conveniently located throughout Hidalgo and Starr counties. The Pecan Campus in McAllen, Mid-Valley Campus in Weslaco and Starr County Campus in Rio Grande City offer traditional college programs. Seeing that Prairie View A&M University is a small campus consisting of about 9,000 students you would believe that they are doing a lot of eco-friendly things, such as using energy efficient bulbs and having recycle bins placed near every trash can on campus. Becoming more sustainable can go way beyond the little things; the campus can install solar panels or installing a green roof. Solar panles use light energy from the sun to generate electricity through this effect called the photovoltaic effect. This is an attempt to resolve the issues between Terry and Bill, who have two children. The first child is Dawn, and she is having trouble adjusting to the lack of attention from her parents. The parents are traditional, where as the father works and the mother stays at home. Both her parent used to be extremely focused and attentive on Dawn; subsequently, her sibling, Darren has congenital heart problems. Darren require more attention, and the parents are having difficulties paying for his medical need, as a result Dawn is lonely without her parents. Her father works long hours to pay for Darren’s abundant medical costs, and her mother is so tired of bills and caring for Darren that she expect Dawn to be a grownup; nevertheless, Terry assumes Dawn is much more mature than Darren. They are high and unreasonable expectations for Dawn. (Broderick and Blewitt, 2014).
Lasell College is a non-sectarian and private university, and the Masters Degree in Sports Management that they offers seeks to equip students with knowledge and know-how to thrive in the industry. The program has three primary concentrations which are Leadership, Sport Hospitality management, and nonprofit management. Also, the Sports Management courses at Lasell College offer training in the areas of media, sponsorship, marketing, finance, diversity, research, leadership, and current issues. Texas Christian University (TCU) located in Fort Worth, Texas is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), which is a denomination that values discussion, freedom of belief; and a concern for all individuals. TCU has a nursing school, Harris College School of Nursing. There are nursing associations that the school offers, however, there is not a religious group that the nurses can come together and reflect in spiritual ways. There are 24 religious organizations listed on TCU Religious and Spiritual Life (2015), though, a student nurse does not have religious way to connect that is central to his/her type of need. Research translation is the transfer of research to the clinical setting where practices can be implemented, evaluated, and communicated. The Kilgore Board of Trustees at Kilgore College, according to the Kilgore College website, has specific powers and duties imposed by the state statutes including policy direction for the college.
