To begin with to the statement made earlier about the claim that the Montague's and Capulet's were responsible for the death of their children. If both families didn’t have an ancient grudge bot4h of the children wouldn’t have died. The both families had an ongoing grudge that didn’t allow them to be married to one family to the other. In document A, “Two Households”, it states in the third line “From ancient grudge break to new mutiny.” Proving that both families had or have a grudge and that made the turn into a war. Making both households have a fight. Finally, if anyone had any contact with the opposing family they will be killed probably making Romeo and Juliet very scared to be together.

If Rosaline would have fell in love with Romeo and not have been so stubborn then Romeo wouldn't have been sad at the beginning (Act 1, scene 1-5).

The families, the Capulets and the Montagues because of their feud. Romeo and Juliet because of their stubborness, impatience and stupidity and then the Nurse. For not telling somebody before the problem got worse.

Romeo and Juliet were facing many obstacles during the time they first encountered one another. Their, so-called, “love” sprung as they were both trying to escape from their present problems. In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is very upset because he loves someone, but she does not love him back. He describes her as,”She’ll not be hit with Cupid’s arrow. She has Dian’s wit(1.1.217)” This shows that he thinks she is not willing to fall in love; I think that this means that she wants to be chased. He is explaining to his cousin Benvolio that,”Alas that love, whose view is muffled still/ Should without eyes see the pathways to his will!(1.1.176)”

In the beginning Romeo goes to the Capulet’s party to see Rosaline and changes his love for Rosaline. In Act I, scene 2, Benvolio told Romeo “At this same ancient feast of Capulet's / Sups the fair Rosaline whom thou so lovest (1.2.82-83)”.
