Life is what you make it as we go through life’s journey. We all have different experiences that are unique to us individually. “Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.” - Virginia Satir. There are typical aspects of our journey that are similar, but different; we share commonalities along the way with others. In life, we will face challenges that bring about change, which is what happens to us along the way when we are younger, and it makes us who we are when we are older. Change is the opposite

The first roller coasters were patented by LaMarcus Adna Thompson in 1885 (Wikipedia), but roller coasters existed long before their paten. Back in late sixteenth century Russia there was a sport known as ice sliding where one would start at the top of a 70-foot wooden structure and pummel down a 600 feet long track on one’s 2-foot-long sleigh (Throgmorton 10). Ice sliding was only available during the winter months, so in the warmer months the Russians would affix wheels to their sleighs so they could enjoy sliding year round. Then in the late eighteenth century a French traveler built a conveyer-like coaster by placing rollers on a wooden track so that riders could coast down the track, thus came the name Roller Coaster (Throgmorton 10).

Many people live their lives believing that their lives are driven by fate; that their hopes and dreams ultimately have no impact on how their lives will turn out. This, however, does not hold true when one considers the paths taken by those who follow their own dreams and desires. When one examines the lives of people and characters who follow their dreams, one can realize that life is not guided by fate, but by the desires of one’s heart.

When we first started learning about energy, I instantly loved it because was just so good at dealing with whatever equations and systems I could throw at it. As opposed to kinematics, for example, using energy to solve problems and equations works for almost anything because it can operate pretty well no matter the change in acceleration. All energy needs most of the time is mass, velocity, height, and gravity, and these things are exactly what the roller coasters such as the ones at Six Flags need as well. Roller coasters have no motors. They simply use gravity and height to gain speed to have the ability to traverse loops, twists, and whatever else may be on the track.

The life is not a destination but a journey. As people go through, they learn, experience, and gain. The journey of the life matters because the people can earn experiences and those experience makes people better.

Roller coasters are the bomb. Would people still enjoy amusement parks if they knew the danger of them? Roller coasters cause deaths and severe injuries. In one year, there’s 350 injuries on roller coasters. It’s like an injury a day! Now, it’s much rarer, because the technology is safer, but there’s always a slight risk. Inspectors notice that most injuries or deaths are from rides over twenty years old. One coaster is less than 10 years old. Amusement parks are fun, but can be life threatening.

As Christians, it is important to look into the history of the church to examine what the forefathers of the faith have been through in order to bring the Christian religion to where it is today. It is also important to see how the faith has developed over time and how doctrine was written and rewritten. One of the figures that have had an impact on the modern day Christian tradition is Athanasius.

After reading and viewing the mob mentality pieces, I conclude in which mob mentality can create a cruel mindset that effect people negatively. One reason I believe that mob mentality is cruel is because Edmonds states that mobs, “lose their individual values and principals and adopt the group’s principles, which, during a riot, are usually to cause destruction and avoid detection.” The above states that people lose their ethical thinking, and decide to go along with the group and make horrendous decisions. Even though the mobs can be powerful and exciting, the individuals in a mob make bad decisions and feel at the time they will not be affected by the situation(s). In the photograph, the illustration shows how cruel a human being can be.

Individuals love to go to the amusement parks and try out the rides that are available. The most common and thrilling ride is the roller coaster. An amusement park is not an amusement park if it does not contain a roller coaster. What makes these roller coasters so fun that every amuse parks has one. A lot of people would say it is their extreme high speeds that makes it very exciting. That is a valid answer, but it is the wrong answer. The speed has nothing to do with the excitement. It is more than likely that most people travel faster on their ride along the highway on the way to the amusement park than they would in a roller coaster. In a park near you very soon a roller coaster will be drawing near...furthermore, not only is there a roller coaster that has never been seen before but also the most magnificent coaster that you've seen. The Looper...The Looper is one of the fastest roller coasters in all of Hershey Park. It speeds in excess of 70 miles per hour. When you are riding The Looper you will feel countless different feelings. As a matter of fact, you will feel not only ecstatic and delighted but also thrill and suspense. Not to mention that as the experience of the unique exhilarating , unforgettable thrills comes to an end, you will surely feel mourning. Be that as it may, you always have the privilege to jump back in line and do it all over again. Riders will feel the anxious anticipation as they wait in line. Not to mention, the force of the g forces as the train screams by the other rides nearby. You will experience pure speed and adrenaline as your heart starts racing as the train accelerates before plunging down

When it comes to the way events happen in life, we need to realize that they obviously happen for a reason. But we need to know that it can change with a little time, effort, and even some real strategizing. We cannot rush or it can end up on a downhill spiral faster than we know.

Life is a complicated twist of suffering, laughing, and learning all merging to tell a great story - or great many stories. Based on this view, "it is not the end goal or outcome of life that gives life meaning but rather the quality of the story, the quality with which one lives out and develops his or her role."

Life sometimes seems scary. The fear of failure and the fear of the unknown make a person rethink its choices and goals, this happens all the time. As time passes, be days, moths, years or only simply one experience can change our whole vision of the world, about life, about what really matters and consequently about our goals. Throughout my whole life I have questioned so many aspects of my life, of existence, and consequently about my future. I never stopped wanting to achieve something big, that could change the whole world, some amazing adventure that would be the one thing that would give birth to all the amazing things that could happen next. As time passed I realized that life itself is one big adventure, and that what I will do every day will matter for me and for the people around me. I realized that life is not some perfect movie where there are good guys, bad guys and that in the end of one amazing journey everything would be solved. It may be a childish vision of the world, but it had motivated me for years to do the thing I believed would help me achieve this, and to believe in myself. Obviously as I grew up, I saw what the world really looked like, that sacrifices have to be made, that there are things which no one can control, that if I want something I have to work really hard. In today society everything counts.
