In 1928, when he was 11 years old, Richard Samuelian lived Fresno, California. Here in Fresno, it is usually very calm, but not when he was 11. Richard lived through prejudice for being Armenian, being “guinea pigs” for teachers at school and other things. He also did many other risky and serious things such as building boats and working on other projects. Richard did all this and still had time to mess around with his friends.
In the current society of the United States of America, there was an ample amount of problems. One of the problems that arose and caused multiply amounts of distress was the rise of wars and terrorists. The United States of America broke the trust of its by putting itself in worldly situations not concerning itself and its people. A more perfect society needs to be formed because of the people not being given what they deserve and what they need. Lindsey Land will be different because it will appeal to the inner needs of its citizens and give them what they truly deserve. Lindsey Land, however, does share some of the same characteristics as the United States of America, as in having its citizens be free and allowing them to voice their own opinions. In this land, it is promised for the people to prosper in its education system, and for its government to provide and help them along the way.

Eventually Tammany Hall’s grip over New York City plummeted when Fiorello LaGuardia became Mayor in 1933. LaGuardia had been an outspoken critic of the prohibition of alcohol, but he was passionate about enforcing illegal gambling laws. At that time, New York City’s slot machines generated roughly $180 million a year in profits for the mob, but under LaGuardia’s direction the NYPD confiscated thousands of slot machines. In fact, he once held a press conference as he threw several of the “mechanical pickpockets” in the Atlantic Ocean. LaGuardia took such a strong stance against gambling that he managed to have pinball machines banned. As a result, New York police officers confiscated and destroyed over 3,000 pinball machines. Again, he held

Jim Lynn takes material from the Barna Research Group to show the percentages between Christians and non-believers are similar on the questions they posed (p. 57-60). Such questions are - Is there any such thing as a Holy Spirit? Is there such thing as a literal devil? Surprisingly, 55% of born-again Christians deny the Holy Spirit as a living entity and 52% deny the devil as a living entity. Except for channeling, astrology, fortune telling, reincarnation, witches, ghosts, and superstition are within a few percentage points between born-again Christians and non-believers. “Based on the above polls, roughly 1 in every 5 Christians in the U.S. is engaged in occultism, even as they worship God.” (p. 60)
