Riley Rogers has been adapting and overcoming obstacles from the day she was born. Now nothing seems to phase her. From her childhood, to her teenage years, and now to the future, she has been relentless and never taken no for an answer.
Riley entered the world on April 23rd, 1999. Her mother, Jamie, has been by her side her entire life. She has been a crucial part in Riley's childhood. But as nurse, Jamie, had countless hours in her occupation as a nurse, and being a single mother, Riley had a lot of time to herself growing up. That time was mostly spent with her childhood best friend, Wyatt. Wyatt is Riley’s older brother. Even though he is four years older than her, they still could never be separated. Wyatt always guided her, and was truly

She went back to a smaller community of Tripoli. She enjoys the small town community. Another hardship happened here when Wyatt, moved out. For the first time she had independence and a huge room to herself. The good part is that Wyatt only moved three blocks down. This is also the time that she started volunteering even more. Riley would donate her time with her dogs to the Tripoli nursing home. Taking her dog to lick and greet all of the residents. She said she really enjoyed doing this and, it put a smile on everyone's face. The following year the nursing home asked Riley to work for her. She greatly accepted as an activity aide. Activity aide workers play games with the residents and other conforming tasks. She said it does not even seem like a job. She gets to bond with the elderly and talk and hear all of their stories. She would work four days a week after school, until eventually getting a promotion to being a cook as well. Now she works everyday after school, getting even more hours. For her future plans she is going to be even more independent. She plans on finding an apartment to move into this April, graduating a semester early,, finding an additional job, and find her desired major to pursue in
She charged straight into a world of conflict without anybody to care and love her at a time where she needed it the most. Hope has to live in an environment that you would not necessarily want for a teenager growing up. As Hope realizes the conflict she faces, she states to herself ,"Here I was- my body heading to one place, my heart stuck in another. My mind's got questions and no answers." (Bauer, p.g 11) This quote emphasizes the inner conflict occurring within Hope and the real dilemma she is facing. This quote also shows her three different outlooks on what she desires. The first being her physical self, the second being what her heart desires, and the third being what her thoughts are. Another way that Hope demonstrates her adaptability is when she has to move from state to state to get a job. Hope says ”I'm not going to Atlanta. I screamed at Addie’s back. You can’t make me!” (Bauer, p.g 11) In this quote Hope demonstrates how she has to be able to learn and adapt even when she does not necessarily want to. Although she may not want to change, she ends up doing so because it is what she is required to do inorder to succeed. This quote also shows that Hope was in a way forced to move on and learn to live life even if she is missing a home and the care a teenager needs to grow into a successful

Riley’s father , Bill Anderson, is a very unique character because of the different personalities he goes through during the course of the movie. At the beginning of the story the family moves from Minnesota to San Francisco because of his job. Once in Minnesota, he is consumed by his work as he starts to get more distant from his family. Even when he’s at home he’s seen talking on the phone discussing investor problems.
She work about three years there and then that store closed. She didn’t know what she was going to do, but thankfully there was a manager spot open in a small town called Sebring so in the middle of her daughters Vivian and Samantha’s school she moved them out to Sebring. They moved into a really small house, but it was perfect for their little family. However it was also very difficult. She had to make a huge decision to choose whether or not to keep her daughter Vivian back a year or move her on and cause her learning troubles in her future. She decided to keep her back a year and let her stay on pace and not cause her daughter in trouble in her future. Thankfully that was the right decision because her daughter was thriving in school. However she had to deal with her other daughter Samantha dropping out of high school, she
Amber Riley’s husband had promised that he would come home to her no matter what, so after they reported him dead she began to keep the shotgun next to the front door. The day he returned, ambling, shambling, reeking of decay, the dog barked once in warning and went to hide under the back porch. Amber dried her hands on a dish towel and went to look at her husband through the screen.
Riley Dalcourt—the dusty cowboy—is stunned. At first sight, he knows Sophie is the woman for him, right down to her purple unmentionables. Unfortunately, he’s already engaged. Honor bound, he’s determined to go through with his commitment. Yet he simply can’t stay away from the sweet-tempered beauty who has entered his life so unexpectedly, or forget her when she leaves just as quickly.
Skylar Hill had always loved beautiful, amazing Los Angeles. It was a place where she felt happy and alive. She was a gorgeous, tall and charming brunette. Her gray-blue eyes caught everyone's attention. Her friends saw her as an attention seeker because she loved every minute of being the center of attention. One day, Skylar was having a rough day when her mother called, telling her that her father had passed away of a heart attack. She went to bars constantly and all she drank was beer. And from that point on, she became addicted to it and drank it everyday no matter what. One day, she received a text from one of her good friends, Doniya. She was inviting her to a bonfire she was hosting outside a camp and basically in the woods. Once she
Weighing a whopping two-fifty and being short for someone who's seventeen, Aubrey Evans' life is obviously not perfect. Despite being ridiculed for her massive weight and height, Aubrey still seemed to bounce with confidence, even if she's a loser, she still manages to flaunt it like jewelry.
Her mother gave her an ultimatum, either you go to a trade school, job corps or find somewhere else to live, but being a drop out and barely could read or write that was out of the question for her so, she decided to move out. She started living from house to house with different friends. She lived with one of her friends until she reached the legal age of adulthood. After working at the job for six months Elizabeth was fired because she had multiple problems with counting money. Elizabeth was hurt but didn’t let that stop her. She continued working various of dead end jobs. She knew the reason why she wasn’t getting ahead is because she had no high school diploma. Riley is eleven in this movie and what I wonder the most about this movie is how children her age and younger portrayed it. I feel that the younger viewers of this movie could have gone home thinking that this was how their emotions worked also.
Leah had some history to her. Both her parents died in a car wreck when she was seven and since then she had paddled from one foster family to the other, drifting in and out of undiagnosed depression from a very young age. The Martin’s, the family she finally seemed to have found a definitive home with had been her guardians for the past four years. Apart from one uncle, Leah had no blood relatives left after her parents passed and that man exactly was the root of Leah’s deadlock and consequential melancholy. See for the past few years, ever since the Martin’s took her in and offered her a real, permanent home Leah had really picked herself up: she made friends at school, her grades improved and she generally became a happy teen. Where her biggest concern had always
Dr. Riley Tux stared out the tall window at the snowy field beside the hospital. The late afternoon sky was dark with smoky clouds, heavy with more snow on the way. He looked back at his best friend, Myles, lying in a hospital bed. Myles, only 30 years old and healthy his entire life, was now somehow dying. Myles had been in the International Kingdom Hospital for almost two full days now. He had been seen by multiple different doctors, including Dr. Tux, tested in any possible way, and not one of them could figure out what was killing him. Myles looked as if he was in awful pain. He had hard, swelling lumps on his neck, inner thighs, under his arms, and around his feet. They grew to the size of a baseball. They started to turn black, split
The film ends with a now 12-year-old Riley adapting well to life in San Francisco, making new friends, and leading a more emotionally complex life.

After being away from her home for six years, Melanie Prewitt had a long list of things to do. She was an important woman after all. But getting kidnapped, however, was not on that list. Unfortunately, it was one someone else's list. More specifically the thugs who had been hired off the streets to eliminate her. They most likely weren't sent by the same people who tried to have her kidnapped the week after she got back from prison. It was unlikely they would go after her again since the last time they got their ass kicked by the mysterious archer of Prime City. The thugs must have gone home crying to their boss about their injuries and poor bruised egos.
