Personal Reflection 1
Reflecting on personal and professional experiences I have become to understand that although there is vast scholarly literature identifying the key determinants of physical activity as demographics, social, cultural and environmental factors (Amireault, Godin, and Vezina-Im, 2013), there are also many psychological (mental health) and health dependent (physical, structural, and functional) determinates that have been introduced to me during my final year of study. All factors can be internal, external, community, organisational, interpersonal and personal (****). As a future practitioner, it is vital that I understand and identity these determinates as enablers and barriers to improve client health outcomes.

Financial restrictions can limit choices (gym membership costs) and or create opportunities (adventure holidays and weekends).
Cultural enables and barriers encompasses ethnicity, religion, beliefs, values, and cultural norms. After traveling for many years, I realised how lucky I was to grow up in a country which values physical activity and sport as not all cultures are founded on an active lifestyle of beaches, football, cricket and outdoor life. This is however changing in recent generations and the introduction to technology. Culture influences the way we think and act, we predominately tend to adapt to the surrounding cultural environment due to the human desire to ‘fit in’ or ‘be popular’.
Environmental enablers and barriers consist of climate, location, safety features, access to facilities, and weather. Weather influences me greatly, becoming less active in winter or in poor weather than summer because of discomfort, inconvenience and lack of motivation. Where someone lives geographically influences access to facilities and safe environments. I have lived in the country and on the coast and found I was more active in the coastal environment, using the beach every day, having access to 24 hour gyms and sporting centres.

The Ancient Greek, Persian, and Roman empires, each influenced one another's way of life through a myriad conflicts and innovations. Each empire underwent cultural innovation through artistic expression. Each three empires had their own unique governmental structures, and expanded their empires. Lastly, internal conflicts among within the Roman, and Sassanian Empires coerced both empires to shift to monotheism. Ultimately, each empire’s fate was predicated upon its relations with one another.
Physical Activity (PA) has many benefits on our health, and importance of this has to be clearly communicated (House of Commons Health Committee 2015). Therefore, the purpose of this report is to discuss relationship between PA, health and diseases along with specific references to the current United Kingdom (UK) health status. This report will also explain two examples of social determinants of health, to show the impact failing to reach government guidelines has on remaining healthy.
Another environmental factor that really controls when I do my leisure is the area or locality where I live. I do not live in a prestigious area and thus there are many things lacking such as recreation centers and gyms. Your built environment influences how physically active you are because you are more likely engage in healthy recreational activities if they are close and
been taking much place in people’s lives. Physical activity is an action which requires an

“Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.” (Abraham Lincoln) and in stories, the shadow is often the only part people look at while the true meaning is ignored. In animal farm, the pigs like to maintain everything under control. Although many characters in the story seem minor, they have the ability to hold up or destroy everything that the pigs work so hard to preserve.
This section surveys ebb and flows research discoveries in regards to the determinants of activity conduct. It additionally talks about the ramifications of this information for specific and general wellbeing suggestions and intercession systems for advancing physical movement. The discussion predicated on the conviction that physical action is a mind boggling, effective procedure. Amid their lives, people commonly travel through different periods of activity interest that are controlled by various components. This part talks about physical movement determinants in two general classifications: unique attributes, including inspirations, self-adequacy, exercise history, attitudes, and other wellbeing practices; and natural qualities, for example, get to, expense, and time hindrances and political and social
General recommendations are now widely accepted as to the general advantages of exercise in terms of physical health, such as its ability to prevent weight gain, coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and osteoporosis.14 It appears that health promotion schemes have shied away from extolling exercise’s psychological benefits. After all, there is no government campaign, no public policy initiative, which pontificates exercise on account of a concern for mental wellbeing. Although many people would identify that exercise has a positive influence on mood state, it appears that, generally speaking, this is regarded as a positive correlation, rather than a causal relationship. The ‘healthy body, healthy mind’ concept is thus, for many, a heuristic utopia, rather than a scientifically proven
One of my personal experiences that I had was when my family decided to move from New Jersey to Florida. I never planned on moving with them but my mother basically forced me into moving with them. It wasn’t really all that moving stuff because the new house was actually pretty nice, it was just I had all my friends there and I was doing well in school. Nothing I said convinced my mother so after a week of packing we was off to Florida. The first week being there was a horrible week. Nothing was going right for me, I missed the school bus for a whole week, dropped my milk on my new shoes, and tripped over nothing in lunch. It was just trying to move back but parents always have this life lesson speech about trying to make new friends and try to get used to being here until we move again. It’s been about a month since we moved to Florida and I met about zero friends but I got used to living here since I’ve found something that interested me as an after school hobby and that was fishing. There’s barley any lakes or ponds in New Jersey so fishing wasn’t really something you do as a time waster. I usually fished right after I got home but on that day it was rainy and it wasn’t really a good time to fish so I just decided to practice my free shots until it started raining hard. I think I was outside for about 20minutes and suddenly a couple kids from my new school asked if they can shoot
Many people often disregard and underestimate the importance of being physically active. While exercise can certainly improve weight and overall physique, hitting the gym isn't exclusively done so in order to get the envied summer body. When one talks about exercise, one nearly always refer to physical exercise. While the term of "exercise" is the physical exertion of the body - making the body do a physical activity which results in a healthy or healthier level of physical fitness – exercise doesn't always come with the purpose of losing pounds. One's physical, psychological, and social health improves by maintaining a scheduled exercise routine.
The need for evidence related to policy influences regarding physical activity are increasing in importance as government, communities, and health professionals implement new community-wide interventions to address health concerns (Schilling, Giles-Corti & Sallis, 2009). There is also growing acknowledgment that physical

I would never aspire to be king because it is much more interesting to be the king-maker. This is my informed judgment based on the sufficiency of my experience and the intrinsic value I derive from analytical and creative problem solving processes. I opine Strategic Advisor and Communicator are synonymous with my definition of “king-maker,” both roles I have experience and some success with. Nevertheless, I am fortunate to have many years of experience to reflect on and guide this self-assessment. Accordingly, I begin this self-assessment by reflecting on a seemingly random event that shaped my attitudes, values, and ethics, and led to important changes in my personal life. Once armed with these insights, I will
