It would be really fun and exciting to have a twin. The first thing that would be awesome would be that you get to celebrate the same birthday, and you would have twice as many cake and presents. Seeing that you would be the same age, you could share a lot of the same toys and games. You might also play the same sports or like the same games. You could play on the same teams, or hang out with the same friends. Since you would be the same age so you could always have someone to play with. Whenever you got bored you would you could just play together. You would always try your hardest to see who is better. They would also make you work and practice more so you could be better. I would love to have a twin to do all of this stuff
On the day that i had my first Jr. High basketball game i woke up out of bed and was super excited to play. While i was getting ready i was acting like i was shooting a basketball, when i really wasn't and kept acting like i was dribbling. When i got to school my whole met up at my locker and we all were so pump up and couldn't stop thinking about the game. Throughout the whole day there were times i couldn't even think straight because i was talking and thinking about the game so much. I'm pretty sure i didn't get one problem done that whole day.
Having a twin helped and hurt me; the challenge that impacted me was my independence or lack of. She was always there. We were in the same classes, had the same interests, played the same sport, had the same friends, worked at a job together, and
While Ali from Deep and Dark and Dangerous and Sunny from Runaway Twin both seem to be brave to the reader, they differ because Ali is concerned and Sunny is fearless. Ali and Sunny are similar because they are brave and try to get through anything. Ali is concerned for not just herself but also her little cousin Emma and doesn’t want anything to happen to her. Sunny is different from Ali because she will do anything to get what she wants, which makes her fearless. Characterization plays an important role in the reader’s understanding of character development.
“Lil?” Angela called, setting the groceries down on the kitchen counter. The television was on and playing an old episode of Twin Peaks, Lillian’s favorite show. Lillian, however, wasn’t in there watching it.
What would it be like to have a twin? This is a question people often ponder. People often say that they see someone that resembles someone they already know. It is almost like dejavu. "Twin" comes from the German word "twine" meaning "two together" (Nagy 1). Most people automatically think of two people who look just alike when they hear the word "twin". However, there is a lot more to twins than just looking alike. Twins are the most common type of multiple births. Many think there are only two types of twins, identical and fraternal; they often leave out conjoined twins. Twins are very unique and fascinating individuals because of their similarities biologically, physically, and psychologically.
Having a twin would be fun. The twin help you with various tasks like he can help you with homework or, cleaning your room. Another reason is he can teach you how to improve on your techniques in sports or help you study. The final reason is, the twin can play sports with you so, he can challenge you and, help you improve at your sport. These are the reasons I think having a twin would be fun. Would you like to have a twin?
Having a twin would be awesome. If I had a twin I would be able to play with them. When I want to play a board game I could ask my twin to play. Second, me and my twin could trick people. Supposing I was an identical twin, I could say “that's John,” when I am actually John. Next, with a twin we could do chores faster. Only one person is slow, but with a twin you could go faster! Lastly a twin could play sports against you. Your twin could be defense, and you could be offense. If I had a twin, I would do these things.
Twins do live different lives. They live through the different thing that can change their personality. One twin could grow apart because of a different interest. Like Bonnie and Brenda twins, Bonnie is now a man. This is could be a result of the changes in their life.
Have you ever thought about what it would be like to share a birthday; clothes, room, or growing up in general with someone is basically the same but really isn’t. I have because I’m a twin and we’re very different. Many people generalize that twins look the same physically, think, act, or may dress alike, but that’s only true for identical twins.
Now that you have more information about twins, you can see that we are not some mystical creature. As a twin, I can say that is just like having any other sibling. You may fight with each other, but in the end you will always love them and be there for
Most twins also have a few close friends that are separate from their sibling. Most don’t share a personality. Again, some small parts are the same, but these parts can be explained by environment. My sister and I have different interests, are involved in many different activities, and have aptitudes in many different things. For instance, she is involved very heavily in the theater and political science departments at her college, and I am involved in volunteer work wherever I can find it and the nursing department. Finally, we don’t usually dress alike. We have not dressed in the same outfits every day since the age of six, when we started helping pick out our own clothes. When we do dress alike, it is only for special events. For instance, we are planning to do so for three days at the end of summer, due to our attendance at the Twins Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio and most twins find this a fun way to celebrate being a twin. Most pairs have the same philosophy. They may dress up for holidays or birthdays (the parents and other relatives find it cute), but not on an everyday basis. There are, of course, exceptions to the rule. Some twins like to dress alike all the time, even as grownups. Some have the same friends, and some even have eerily similar personalities. To these people, I say “More
“You can spend too much time wondering which of identical twins is the more alike.” This quote by Robert Brault shines so true for identical twins. Being an identical twin, I have seen first person that those around you always compare the two of you, and for some reason expect you to be perfectly equal in all aspects. Whether they are comparing your grades, your weight, or the way you dress, it is almost impossible to escape the entitlement of being an identical twin. These comparisons put more pressure on each child to become more of an individual.
There are two types of twins. One type of twins, called identical twins, is exact clones of each other. They share the same DNA and were made from a single split egg. More research as been done regarding these types of twins as they are the more remarkable kind. Since they are a genetic match, nature plays the
The similarities between the personalities of twins is dependent on whether or not the twins grow up together or separately. Who here knows someone who’s a twin? If you know a pair of twins, then you probably know that they usually aren’t exactly alike. One may be super sporty while the other might hate any game involving a ball.
Have you ever met someone that is so much like you that feel like you could be twins? My sister Cari and I are two very similar people. Cari is only seventeen months older than I, and we spend a lot of time together. We look alike, have the same hobbies, and have very similar personalities.
