Rammstein's 'Made in Germany 1995-2011': A Concert Review

Rammstein is a German industrial/hard rock band that has been around since the 1990s. Their current tour is called "Made in Germany 1995-2011," which I found out later referred to the fact they are releasing a "best of" compilation album rather than an album of new songs. Although I was relatively unfamiliar with the band, a friend invited me to the concert on February 24, 2012 at the O2 Arena in London. I have heard that Rammstein puts on an entertaining concert, based not just on the professional reviews published in music magazines and newspapers but also from bloggers and users of music-related Web sites like Last.fm. The Rammstein concert turned out to be among the most entertaining live music events I have ever seen.
Because the "Made in Germany 1995-2011" tour represented the culmination of the band's career, most of the audience members could sing along with every single song. Even though I did not know the words, I was carried away by the enthusiasm of the crowd, plus the energy that the bend itself exuded from the stage. A band called the Deathstars opened the concert. Our seats were far away from the stage, in the first balcony rows. At first I thought this would be terrible viewing, but it turned out to be a good place to sit because we could see everything including the way the audience in the pit behaved.
